"The posada is a beautiful old building, perfectly maintained and spotlessly clean. Communication was a little difficult with the owners due to my limited Spanish and their limited English - but we managed! We had a lovely room and a very comfortable bed. It was 4km to drive to the nearest town for dinner. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of choice of local and homemade food. We stayed here on our way back to Bilbao airport after holidaying further west. It is very rural, south of Santillana...

"Pleasant stay in a Spanish house, we stayed on the second floor with a Velux window in the roof- we could have done with a fan as it got stuffy - we did ask but apparently not needed.... breakfast was plenty of toast and fruit and coffee and tea. Ideally situated on a side road just off the main road half way between Comillas and San Vicente de la Baroque, both beautiful villages - enjoyed evening meals at both but not until 9pm"

"A un dia de irnos de vacaciones, VRBO nos confirmo que este propietario no estaba activo. Aunque nos ofrecieron un bono extra para buscar otro alojamiento, evidentemente por las fechas que eran no encontramos nada dentro de presupuesto. Gracias a VRBO nos quedamos sin vacaciones, por no cuidar de que sus anuncios estén activos y durante todo el proceso de gestión (que duró 2 días) en todo momento nos dijeron que se iba a solucionar, incluso que habían contactado con el propietario (siendo que no...

Charming hotel in the center of town

"Beautiful room with two balconies and lovely furnishings. The bed was large and comfortable, and the bathroom was cavernous. The hotel is in a wonderfully decorated historic building in the center of town. A perfect place from which to enjoy Santillana Del Mar. The only point against them is that there is no coffee maker or kettle in the room. Parking available in their lot for a small charge. "

心地良いローカルホテルです

"サンタンデールに行く途中で宿泊しました。とても親切なマスターは英語も堪能で、親切に見どころやレストラン情報を教えてくれてとてもありがたかったです。部屋も綺麗で家族で泊まるのに十分でした。ディナーはありませんが近所の素晴らしいバルやレストランを紹介してくれます。朝ごはんはパンコントマテとコーヒー、ハモンにチーズととても美味しくいただきました。パレドールに泊まるのもいいですが、当ホテルのようなこじんまりしたホテルもマスターとの距離感が近くて良い思い出になりますね。皆さんも機会があればぜひ泊まってみて下さい。オススメです！"
