"Charming seafarer’s cottage! It was in a beautiful location with incredible views over the water and the town of Hydra. Literally 5 minute walk up a stoney path to the nearest little beach with crystal clear water (bring your water shoes) with gorgeous views all the way. 20 minute walk into town with lots of restaurants available. "It is everything listed! The only issue may be how steep the stairs are, but this is not unusual on Hydra or in Greece for that matter. Things are built upward, not outward so there are usually steep stairs at hotels and even restaurants. I only mention it if you have older or weaker members, they may not be able to use the upstairs. My wife and I had no problems though and we're well over 50! Rania is very easy to work with and attentive! Definitely a great place to stay!"

"As described in the listing this is an original Hydra house spread over 3 levels. Perfect in sunny weather as outside stairs are part of daily living. The upstairs bedroom and the outside terrace have spectacular views of the harbour. The daily sound of the Clocktower bell, donkeys hooves and footsteps provide the rhythm of life. "We enjoyed our stay but felt it would have been better if the listing listed A/C in 3 of the bedrooms. Having the listing stated it had A/C we were surprised to find it only had it in 2 bedrooms. We loved the quaintness and location. "
