This retreat provides opportunities for ATV exploration, just minutes away from the mountains (BYO ATV). Embark on fly or line fishing adventures along the serene Paint Rock and Medicine Lodge Creeks. Observe the captivating mule and whitetail deer throughout the year. For those interested, seasonal bird, deer, and elk hunting is available. Discover the ancient petroglyphs at the Medicine Lodge Archeological State Park, located a few miles up the road. And if you want to stay close to home there is always a competitive game of Cornhole to be had.

Accommodating up to six guests, this home offers a primary bedroom with a queen bed, a loft with two twin beds and room for additional air mattresses, and a pullout sleeper couch (queen bed) on the main level. The residence boasts one full bath and one 3/4 bath. The nearby town of Hyattville provides a bar/restaurant, while Ten Sleep offers several dining establishments and a pizza wagon on a select night of the week. For groceries, gas stations, and other amenities, Worland, approximately 40 miles southwest of Hyattville, or Tensleep, 18 miles south by car, are convenient options.

Awesome place to stay
We loved our stay, the house was super clean and very nice. House had everything you could ever need. Deer in the yard every day, very peaceful! Wonderful views, definitely the perfect place to go to relax and spend time with family.

Wonderful place to get away
Everything was wonderful! The scenery, the wildlife (deer pretty constant), the sunsets were out of this world! We will definitely return! In regards to someone elseā€™s comment about the cleanliness, the only thing I can imagine they might have been confused about was the hard water stains on glassesā€¦we found the house to be pristine clean. Ohā€¦and the shower was wonderful!

Our 4th stay here!
As always, the house is well equipped, clean, comfortable, and secluded. The window ACs work very well. Wifi works just fine too. The majestic view from the porch is new every day. The kids love "their" space upstairs. There are plenty of kitchen utensils and everything you need to cook anything you want. We look forward to coming back!

Family visit to Medicine Lodge
This place is a hidden gem! There are great views off the porch and the little balcony. The wifi works good and there is plenty of hot water. The AC was running for us when we got there and the house temperature was very comfortable. There is a Keurig and a regular coffee maker. The loft area was a huge hit with the kids, a very cool space with a AC as well. Nearby Medicine Lodge is 3 miles away and always a favorite. We would definitely stay again!

Our Dream Come True
It has been my husband's dream to visit Wyoming. He wanted to really experience the quietness and wide open places so he didn't want us to stay at a hotel. Boy am I glad he found this place! This was the true Wyoming experience! In a small town away from everything. Wildlife everywhere. Mountains, fields, and rock formations all around you. The description is to a tee! Great managers/neighbors! The best part was Mongo, the manager's dog. He kept us company the whole time either on the front porch or on the short walk to the creek. The manager also has a pizza wagon at the Paintrock Inn on Saturday and Wednesday nights. DELICIOUS!!! Don't forget the cheese bread! Remember to get your groceries in Worland. No cell service, but the Internet works great and they have Direct TV. The perfect place to unwind! Don't miss the sunrise over the mountains from the front porch, or the sunset from the balcony. You are going to LOVE this place!

Hiking Weekend
If you are able to make the drive out to Hyattville, this is a great place. A great master bedroom and house with wraparound deck. Very well furnished, and when we had an issue with Wi-Fi, it was immediately taken care of.

Amazing property at a great price!
My husband and I booked this property and we were so pleased with our decision! Immaculate home with everything we needed to enjoy our stay! It was a hot week, so the a/c was wonderful to have. We enjoyed morning coffee on the wraparound porch and saw deer crossing the lawn each day! We were able to leave on our 4 wheelers right off this property to ride through Paintrock Canyon. I canā€™t say enough about how wonderful this VRBO was!! I definitely recommend it!

Retreat under the stars
This home is in such a beautiful location. The views are stunning. We were visited each morning by a friendly pheasant and so many other beautiful birds.The deer are also often around. The home itself is lovely and the bed in the master is the most comfortable we have ever slept on while traveling. We really enjoyed star gazing on the loft balcony at night. The property manager was very accessible as well.

Peaceful spot
It worked great for our family and we could easily drive a short distance to hike. Medicine Lodge Archeological Site was close and great. This rental does have hard water, so if you are sensitive to that you may want to bring drinking water.

Great, remote, near the Big Horns
This is a great house and really beautiful area, but it is fairly remote. Wonderful for a few days of rest and isolation. Had everything our family needed and the kids loved it. Actually really close to one great stopā€”Medicine Lodge Archaeological Site. Really cool, you need to visit if you stay here.

A great respite
This was a lovely property. We had planned to use it as a launching pad for hikes and exploring big horns. Site was removed enough that some travel time was needed to reach destinations. It would have been nice to have more detailed maps of bighorns (hiking) but the nearby medicine lodge park was close and offered a good day trip within 10 minutes. We enjoyed the apples trees and foraged for apples (along with the local deer herd).
