"We absolutely loved our stay at Heima Holiday Homes. The property was beautiful and modern, with everything we needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable—even the sofa bed! "The Hekla Cabins are three, wonderful little cabins just off one of the main roads through the area. The cabin comfortably fit two, but there's a pullout couch (at least in Cabin One) for an additional sleeper. The kitchen has a small fridge and a stovetop, and the bathroom has a shower with plenty of hot water (WiFi was also available). The view from the cabin is of a BEAUTIFUL Icelandic landscape, even in the winter; I imagine the greenery in the summer is that much more stunning. The only...

"We had an excellent stay at Ásólfsskáli Cottage! The cottage is clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. It’s in a beautiful location on a farm by the mountains, with stunning views and great hiking nearby. Katrin, the owner, provided outstanding service. We lost a SIM card from our drone, which had all our Iceland memories, and she found it in a vacuum bag! We’re so grateful for her kindness and extra effort. We would love to come back and highly recommend this place!"
