"Travelling with our family and another, we chose the south side of Hvar Island as a central location to see as much as possible. Instead we found it difficult to leave the property as it has everything you could ever want in a home stay. A fabulous deck, bbq and well equipped kitchen. Amazing views of the Adriatic and plenty of activities nearby. Mornings were spent lazing by the pool while the afternoons were spent exploring the island or down to the beach for swimming, snorkelling and cliff...

"The pictures don't lie. The villa and surrounding property are absolutely magical. The location and views are stunning and breathtaking. I can't say enough good things about my experience staying at the villa. Vilma was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was so generous helping me plan my visit which included a large group of 13 people. "The outside of the property was very nice. The inside was very antiquated. The mattresses and towels and furniture were very old. The showers were very small. Tho there was a cold shower outside that was normal size. The nearby restaurants were nice. Ubers were hard to get. So it cost 30 euros each way for a 10 min taxi ride to the city center."

"Such a beautiful villa with great amenities. Situated in a quiet spot just outside a small village, it felt very secluded. Lovely pool and terrace surrounded by olive trees, always with a lovely sunset in the evening. Great views from the upper balconies towards the sea and hills. Zarko was a delightful host and very considerate for all our needs. "

"We were a group of 4 and Villa Alea was a great stay in Hvar - literally located right in the Old Town, the location wa a perfect. We could walk everywhere easily and we were just off the beaten path, so it was quiet at night. The flat was really nice with everything you would need, and Tea is an excellent host. Check in and check out was a breeze and she was super responsive whenever we had a question or needed anything. This place is a 10/10 and worth every penny!!!"

"Great experience. Our host was wonderful; she stayed out of the way yet was there for anything we needed (lives in one of the 2 guest houses on the beautiful property). She set us up with transportation to town who were there for our every need and really made the stay everything we expected and more. It’s a beautiful property - so relaxing and beautiful. Would rent again in a heartbeat!"

"Il Meligrano is a beautiful space made so much better by Goga and Renzo who are amazing hosts and lovely people. The pool was an amazing addition especially as we were there during a heat wave. Our kids made very good use of it! Goga and Renzo went above and beyond to make our vacation the very best experience, lending us a cooler for our day trip to Bol and giving us great advice especially when it came to restaurants and sightseeing."

"We were 12 girls staying at the villa over the weekend and it was amazing. Lots of different cozy areas to hang out and Carlos is super helpful. The only downside was that we had agreed on welcome drinks which wasn’t provided"

"It was just perfect. The view, the villa, the stay… it was just as we expected and more! Perfect for friends who want to relax and enjoy life—eat on the terrace, chill in the pool, do some trekking and bicycle around the island. Far from the HVAR party lifestyle to really appreciate the bird songs and the silence of the phantom village! We will come back to feed Simba again, their friendly cat ;-) Thanks to the friendly owner family."

"Very clean comfortable house. Close to a couple of local beaches. 20 minutes to Jelsa and Stari Grad. Beds were some of the most comfortable we slept on during our trip. House is well decorated. Great multi level outdoor space to enjoy the view. Also well shaded in late morning and afternoon. Overall very please with the rental! A big 2 thumbs up."

"Andro is an excellent host. He picked us up and dropped us off at the boat. It is a bit of a walk to the downtown HVAR but we don't mind at all. The place was beautiful, clean and the view of the Adriatic was lovely. My only comment would be that the walls are a bit thin and you can smell smoke and hear the neighbours next door. Definately would stay again. "
