This is a review for the Amfora Hvar Hotel as the Delfín Hvar Hotel was closed and I was changed over to their Amfora property. This is a really nice hotel and a beautiful location.

The hotel is located along the water so the view from the room was very nice. The hotel itself could use some updating, the carpets are pretty worn and there was no air conditioning. The room itself was large, clean and comfortable.

Veldig sentralt, ren og enkelt. Inkludert greit frokost. Greit sted for de som trenger en enkelt overnatting (rent, sentralt) for litt penger. Rom er stor, med stor baderom og kjempestor balkong med fantastisk utsikt møt by og havn.

Op goede centrale locatie gelegen, aardig personeel. Prima ontbijtbuffet wat er bij zit. Nadeel geen airco en hotel is wat verouderd, maar dat was vooraf van het boeken bekend. Voor een week prima te doen.

No tiene aire acondicionado en el cuarto piso, las ventanas dan al amanecer y medio día, si afuera hace 35 grados en la habitación hace 45, increíble!!! La heladera no funcionaba y el baño no tiene luz! Un desastre! Solo es buena la ubicación y el bar de abajo

Location of the front reception of the hotel was great, just off the waterfront but rooms were to far from the waterfront and behind buildings to be considered a sea view in my opinion. Rooms were mediocre to say it nicely. Bed was ok but that was the highlight. No air conditioning apart from one blow fan and toilet area looked like it was last remodeled in the 60’s. Breakfast was ok but it was standard continental breakfast and quality of produce weren’t that high.

Styr unna!
Bestilte rom på dette hotellet, da det lå sentralt på Hvar og bildene så bra ut. Rommet var så varmt at det var nesten uforsvarlig å sove der. Er ingen aircondition der. Måtte ligge med kalde våte håndklær i senga for å få sove. Rommet var veldig slitt og luktet gammelt. Anbefales ikke!

Nice and Central around Hvar Harbour
Nice hotel in a very nice location at the centre of all lively bars and clubs around Hvar Harbour. The room itself is basic and a downside was there was no air-conditioning in my room and it proved to be very hot during my stay there, I do not know about other rooms or did not ask. The service from hotel staff and restaurant bar was great and cannot fault anything else during my stay.

It wasn't the hotel that we booked. We booked the Delfin bevause of its proximity to the harbour and the Pharos (while a perfectly good hotel) was much further away on foot, particularly for a partly disabled member of our party.
