"this is a decent motel but a few "downs". The shower water valve was terribly stiff to operate. A new cartridge is in order. the plastic knob on the water valve was very loose and in danger of pulling off. I noted this to the desk clerk. The "breakfast" was an assortment of two overly sugary cereals and assorted cheap buns and old bananas. A far cry from the other similarly-priced motels we recently stayed at."

"Iron Ridge is a quiet little town. Shop for essentials at a convenience store. Motel owners were eager to meet our needs. The view from our windows was of pine trees, gardens and grass...not sterile paved parking lots. The pool was large and clean. The single train passing in the night was very loud, but quickly passed. We felt relaxed and refreshed after our stay."

"We were helping a friend @ the Jefferson Swap meet. This facility was a perfect place- quiet, clean , and comfortable. The desk clerk directed us to a local restaurant that was just wonderful! Our only negative was, that the hot breakfast was not attended to very well - things ran out in the first 15 min of serving. The selection was tasty for those who arrived first."

"The staff here was hands down some of the best hospitality staff I have ever experienced Everything was so clean, well laid out and amazing to be next door to a wedding reception venue. Anything we needed there wasn’t a hesitation of assistance. Would recommend this hotel without a doubt. Our two bed room suite was absolutely perfect. Great space, comfortable beds and has all the extras you need. Very handicap accessible and the outdoor space was an extra excellent bonus. This location checks all the boxes plus some…..deserves more than 5 stars "
