"This location was within an hour of our hometown. Secluded and hidden away deep in the woods just like we expected. The layout of this home was exceptional. Two bedrooms with two baths. We are seniors so we didn't take advantage of the creek on the property. If you have children they'll love it ! There are endless kitchen utensils for every cook every type of meal. "What a great place, my wife and I booked for the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We arrived near dark on Friday, don’t think you are going to far down the gravel road. The entire property is very secluded and private. The unit was very clean and well appointed. Nearly everything you need for cooking. We had such a great time we didn’t want to leave. We will be back. "

"My 11 yr old granddaughter saw this listing and begged to stay “at the castle house”. The “castle” is a unique, one of a kind 3 story house, at the end of a trail through the woods. Please be aware that the dirt road and narrow trail to the house might not be suited for small cars. (We have a full sized truck.) "Mrs. Ursula was fantastic when we had a small issue we had to deal with..The home was VERY well stocked for us..She thought of everything! All in our group were very happy with the home..Wifi was a bit slow, but we weren't there for that..lol! Recommend to those visiting for the Louisiana Renaissance Fest..short 18 minute drive.. "
