Vacation weekend
Overall stay was good as well as cleanliness. House was remodeled with marginal workmanship which was hard to see in the photos, but didn’t hinder our stay. It would have been good to have the AC window units running for several hours before the rental to air out the house before our arrival.

Sooo close
This property was so close to perfect. A few random things that took of points. The heat was blasting from the floor vents- which the window a/c units were on. Easy fix. The garbage disposal smelled like something had died down there and we had no real way to fix it. We had to do a search for the extra towels - they were in the dryer. Finally, there was pink mold on the shower curtains. So just a few miscues. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay!

Great Cedar Point location
The place was cute and close to a beautiful view of the lake and exactly what we needed to spend a day or two at Cedar Point. But just know it was not the lap of luxury. The air conditioning is window units and the stairs to the upstairs is a winding staircase that is difficult to carry things up to the upstairs tv room that also has the bedroom attached (open plan) with the two twin beds and double bed. The second bathroom is up there also.

Nice location but needs improvement
The location of the property was beautiful. We would have preferred to know about the spiral staircase as it was very tiny and difficult to use. The property sleeps 8 yet it lacked sufficient number of bath towels. The set mice traps were out in the open upstairs and dangerous for our grandson. There were droppings in the upstairs couch.

Very Nice
The property was very nice. There was, however, a very small spiral staircase which was the access to the second floor where the second bath and sleeping for at least four. This made access to the second bathroom difficult and we never did figure out how you would get a suitcase to the second floor.

Could be five stars with few fixes given the rates at peak season. Location perfect for day trips and plenty of room for my gang. A little buggy - to be expected at a lake cottage. Clean upon arrival and host initially very responsive to my queries. The dishwasher started leaking upon first use and we were unable to use it the entire week. There was a dishrack and handwashing was inconvenient but tolerable. Host did not respond to messages. Amenities were satisfactory, plenty of cups, glasses, utensils etc. The listing says no pots and pans but we found everything needed in the pantry closet (some not quite clean). Nice to have washer/dryer and floor vac. Used grill a couple of times (with foil), lovely private deck. Downstairs AC struggled a bit. Brought fans. Garage floor sits lower than driveway and had recently flooded leaving a residue and some odor (VERY tight to park). Driveway can accommodate multiple cars. Things to know. Getting upstairs is a very tight fit up a spiral staircase. Low ceilings in sleeping area but owner smartly padded the angels. Bathroom entry has VERY low clearance. Upstairs is carpeted, worn and musty as well as the rug downstairs. Bring extra towels and sheets. Top sheets were missing from two beds. Twin beds were not the best. If you have children, note that there is a small canal running adjacent to the property. The street dead ends just before the lake but you are not allowed to enter that area. A neighbor told us it's private.

Met our needs
We arrived a little early, but we’re able to get in and get settled. Noticed there were not enough towels for the group but shortly after notifying Owner we received what we needed. Patio area could have been a great spot to hang out, but it was not cleared of Leaves and debris location was perfect and so is the price?

Cedar Point getaway
Had a great few days at this house! Spent two days at Cedar Point and two days at Nickel Plate beach and place is in a great location for both. House was clean, and we loved that it had space for all of us (three adults, 5 kids). Big kids hung out upstairs most of the time! Would definitely recommend this place! We plan to come back again soon!
