Decent hotel, friendly staff, overall the hotel appeared clean but in my room the carpet had stains that appeared they could have easily been cleaned, and the chase was dirty. I did not sit on it because if the multiple stains. The bed was clean though.
We actually decided to change hotels after check in. Staff was very kind. The hallway leading down to our room had old carpet, walls that were (we assume) being renovated? There were holes being held by tape that was peeling off. The room itself had a very strong musty smell and a few moths flying around. I’m sure Much of that was Out of the control of the management but my family and I would not have been comfortable. Unfortunately next door was a very upset infant so all things considered we just decided to move.
Had a problem with my card and hotel took $300 extra off my card and general manager will not get back with me and was stuck without money 5 hours from home. Still have yet to hear anything. Still was overall a great stay and clean environment and staff there were very helpful besides gm.

We were not greeted. There were 2 young people at the front desk on their phones. They didn’t look up when people walked in. When I went to the desk to explain our room phone wasn’t working, we’re wet met with a “sorry”-no offer to have maintenance look at it. When we asked for pillows for the pull out we were told they were out. The receptionist said she’d look for some, but as we walked away she sat back down and started on her cell phone again. We never did get pillows.
Service was great until the one night that I was really resting and the fire alarm malfunctioned at 1:07 a.m. causing everyone to evacuate only to find out it was a false alarm. I understand that I would rather have a false alarm than no alarm at all with an actual fire though. Please hurry up and get that fixed, please!
This was our return trip stay from vacation.We stayed here the week before heading to vacation on 8/13. The 8/13 stay was even worse. We would've changed hotels after the 13th, but rates had gone up significantly.
The 8/20 stay was disappointing because the a.c. unit would get noisy at random intervals. We should've tried to change rooms but were so tired and gathering everything up for just a few hours didn't seem worth it.
The stay on 8/13 was marred by a noisy guests. The staff tried to calm them down, but it was pointless. Rock The South was that weekend and the hotel was filled w/ concert goers.
The combined experiences of the two stays made us decide we won't be staying here again.
