Charming, tastefully remodeled beach duplex unit only 60 steps to the sands of lovely Sunset Beach. Enjoy beach living at it's best in this sunny, upstairs, light-filled unit which includes two upgraded bathrooms and gourmet kitchen with expansive eat-in counter. Newly installed air conditioning system to keep you cool on the warm summer evenings. Every part of the home has been completely renovated in decorator grays and whites. Take in the breezes or enjoy a barbecue with friends on your private deck. There are two newly renovated bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, full size dresser and private en-suite bathroom. This bathroom includes a shower, vanity and toilet. The second bedroom has a comfy double bed, dresser and desk. The second bathroom is just across the hall and has a tub/shower, vanity and toilet. There is also a brand-new pull-out queen size sofa bed in the living room. The living room provides ample seating for gathering to watch TV or to socialize. The kitchen is also newly remodeled and offers all of the amenities that a cook could desire. The kitchen has a very large eat-in counter for gathering or having meals. The deck is just off of the front door and includes a grill, table for four (or more) and a sitting bench. There are free laundry facilities onsite which include a washer/dryer and utility sink. I provide two bikes and assorted beach toys including boogie boards, beach chairs and beach umbrellas.
This home is conveniently close to many activities and attractions. World class surfing or swimming are just steps away, or opt for kayaking or stand-up paddle boarding merely across the road in Huntington Harbor. Numerous restaurants are walking distance and Downtown Huntington beach is a close ten minute drive. Sunset Beach is a quaint beach-town with a vibe all its own, ranging from bohemian inspired eateries to night-time entertainment. There are miles of beachfront path for biking, jogging or an evening stroll. Nearby Bolsa Chica State beach also offers fire-pits for evening gatherings. World-famous theme parks such as Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm are a short 30 minute drive. Nearby Long Beach also offers the Aquarium of the Pacific. This unit is perfect for two couples or a family and there is ample parking on-site (can accommodate two larger vehicles or three compact cars). The nearby greenbelt also offers a children's park and grassy area. Please note that this unit is not intended for parties or large groups of people wanting to have "ragers". Excessive noise and disruption of the neighborhood will not be tolerated. There is a NO SMOKING policy.

Enjoyed our stay here. My daughters and I enjoyed being able to walk to the beach each night. (Although the beach had a lot of trash at high tide) but we enjoyed looking for shells anyway. The house was perfect and will keep this place on the radar for a future trip to California.

I stayed here with my spouse and two young kids. The location is fantastic, being near the beach and a playground for the kids along with easy access up and down the coast via the PCH. The unit itself was well maintained and clean.

We had a great stay in Sunset Beach. The unit is just as pictured online and has everything you need for the stay. We appreciated the towels/beach blanket/chairs! The greenway was perfect for walking our dog who also loved visiting the dog beach just five minutes drive from the house. Restaurants, bball/pickleball court, playground and beach all an easy walk away. We would not hesitate to return! Thank you!

We had a small family vacation, and this was the perfect location for us- close to the beach, several health food/grocery options within a mile or two, as well as lots of restaurants to choose from nearby. The home was bright and clean with lots of windows and a really nice open island/living room space for games and movies. I would absolutely recommend it to friends and family!

We had a wonderful visit while in Huntington Beach. This suite is ideally located close to the beach. We rented a large vehicle and luckily the property had an available parking stall that was large enough to accommodate. The kitchen is well stocked. Joanne responded to messsges really quickly.

Coming from Montana, it was a perfect place to hang out and enjoy the temperate climate with my brother and his partner who were visiting from Germany. We were all in town for my Mom's 90th birthday party. The place is in a quiet neighborhood, spacious, clean, light, comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and laundry access, close to Trader Joe's for groceries. We enjoyed lunches on the sunny patio, daily walks on the beach and greenway, exploring Bolsa Chica wetlands and doing puzzles on the large countertop in the evenings.

Family Get Together
About 50 people attended my mom’s 80th birthday party. Myself, my wife, our daughter, and her boyfriend stayed at this cute beach home. It was perfect for us and short little walk to the beach across the street behind us. We also walked to dinner one night. Very nice location and clean. Property owner was very responsive and cooperative. We would highly recommend it.

The owners have put a lot of effort to modernize the interior and supply an abundance of amenities. So comfortable and quiet. A short walk to Sunset Beach. Other businesses nearby—restaurants, groceries, etc. It’s an upstairs unit with a long set of stairs. Not good for the handicapped or fall risks.

Great gear included!
Family with older kids stayed for a week at the beach. The location was 6 out of 5 stars! The house was perfect for our purposes. It was the absolute cherry on top that they had a closet full of great beach gear. We didn’t have to bring anything! We loved cooking in most nights and the kitchen was perfect. The AC kept us very comfortable at night. I would 100% recommend this beautiful beach house. I hope to return!!

Great Beach Stay
We enjoyed our stay at this sweet beach getaway! It was extremely clean and comfortable. The kitchen was particularly new and well organized. Our only problem was the dryer was so old that it still hadn’t dried my family’s load of laundry even after three times running it. I ended up having to hang up everything around the room to let it finish drying overnight. Other that that, we had a wonderful beach getaway and enjoyed utilizing the available wagon, chairs, towels, and toys.

Charming home
We have stayed at this property before and we were excited to stay there again. It is a charming beach home with only a short walk to the beach. There is a new very comfortable couch in the living room, the kitchen is well equipped, there are plenty of towels and beach towels available and there is a storage area with ice chests, boogie boards, beach chairs and bicycles. There is liquid hand soap in the bathrooms, but you will need to bring your own shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The property owner is quick to respond to questions or concerns. We love this property and look forward to staying there on our next trip to So Cal.

Spring Break Getaway
Our family had a wonderful time in Huntington Beach during our spring break. We were able to ride our bikes to Seal Beach and walk to many restaurants. Our rental was clean and just enough space for our family of 4. The hosts were accommodating and responsive too. Our only constructive criticisms would be the mattress in the guest room is ready to be replaced...the box spring is very loud when you move and the mattress rolls to the center. The shower door in the master bath does not close all the way and the kitchen could use a deep cleaning as there seemed to be a layer of grease on the surfaces. Being just steps from the beach was perfect as we even walked over one night to look at the lights of Long Beach and enjoy the cold sand. Thank you for sharing your home!

Great location! Place was a great place for a get away. Would’ve given it a five. However front bathroom sink was clogged. I called property manager and left a message about the sink. Never got a call back . I bought some drano and it didn’t help. I’m really a person who doesn’t like to complain but not having the property manager call me back was disappointing.

Great location, clean but concerns
Great unit, and awesome location with steps to the beach! Air conditioning units did not work properly so we were forced to keep windows open in the night. There was lots of road noise and people’s car alarms and shooting off fireworks. Reached out property manager with basic questions concerning trash and laundry and she was short and unfriendly. Tennents below we’re super nice! Enjoyed our stay here but didn’t sleep well overall.
