Grizzly Den ~ Less than 15 minutes to Glacier National Park!

Welcome to the Grizzly Den, an older mobile home located on a quiet residential street in beautiful Hungry Horse MT. This place was built in the 1970’s so it’s not perfect but it’s clean, affordable and only 10 miles to GNP! What more can the budget conscious traveler ask for?! Come home after a day of hiking to relax and cook up a burger on the BBQ. Two bedroom, full bath with kitchen. Comfy beds, soft sheets and pillows. Stocked with tea, coffee and basic spices. We also supply bear spray for your convenience. TV with DVD player but no cable. WIFI is available. Verizon and AT&T should get decent service.

Convenient for trips to Glacier National Park. Thoughtful touches provided, from fluffy towels, nice toiletries, coffee/tea, and a well-stocked kitchen, to bear spray. We enjoyed our stay.

Spot on

Great location and easy to find. Nice neighborhood and close to shops and Glacier. Kitchen was well appointed and the bathroom had fabulous towels. Grill worked well. The place felt like home and we had a wonderful stay.

Location can't be beat, super easy access to the West Side of the Park, grocery/laundry close by and overall had all the amenities that you could possible need to make it a home away from home.

Great stay!

This is a great little spot. It’s not fancy, but it is 12 minutes from Glacier and it gets the job done. Host and property manager were great to work with, and we felt right at home.

Perfect for the Park

Great place to stay near West Glacier park entrance. Splits the difference between the park and whitefish, so it’s extremely convenient location. The place is super cozy, spacious and full of all the stuff you would need to make yourself at home in between your adventures. Thanks Lacota, we hope to return some time.

Great spot

Great little spot about 15 min away from west entrance of Glacier. Place was clean, beds were comfortable and towels were super soft. Kitchen was stocked with basics which was really nice.

This place was very nice and clean. About 1 block off the main road in Hungry Horse. Some road noise. About 10-15 minutes from west Glacier. We would definitely stay here again. Close to Carolyn's Cafe. 5 star breakfast cafe

Perfect place to explore glacier

This property was the perfect location to explore the National park. Super close to the west entrance and easy access to roadways leading to the east side. The home was clean and comfortable. Also a plus that it was within walking distance to the Huckleberry Patch where we could get pie and ice cream.

Great location to Glacier. Home was very roomy and well appointed. The host provided everything someone would need, including bear spray and bug repellent. We certainly will recommend this place.

Trip to Glacier

Took a trip up to Glacier with a few buddies, found this VRBO to be much more budget friendly than a lot of the others plus it was in a fantastic location. We weren't at the VRBO very much, but with a 15 minute drive to Glacier it was in a great location for us. The property was very clean and came as advertised, would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again.

Close to Glacier National Park

We appreciated all the little extra touches that the host did for this property. There was bear spray available to use while hiking and some basic spices and condiments in the fridge. We had a comfortable stay here and it was very close to Glacier which was our reason for coming.

Glacier getaway

We had such a wonderful experience at Lacota’s place. It is an understatement to say the kitchen was well stocked, it had anything we needed to cook with. The beds were comfortable and so were the living room furniture. Highly recommend.

Exactly as described, maybe not the most luxurious apartment but perfectly clean with excellent facilities, plenty towels bed linen etc. and well equipped kitchen. West Glacier just a few minutes away.

Under the big sky

This property was a nice and cozy place to stay. I stayed here for four nights with no problems. The owners are very nice and great at communicating. Not a far drive to Whitefish, Glacier Point, and Hungry Horse dam. Would highly recommend for anyone who wants to visit Montana. Will be coming back to stay!
