The holiday home has been completely renovated and furnished in typical Swedish style. In addition, a terrace with a view of the lake has been built in front of the house. The house is located with a few other houses on a spit of land on Lake Gnötteln.
The well-known Swedish sights are in the immediate vicinity. Be it Lönneberga or Vimmerby, the birthplace of Astrid Lindgren with the famous amusement park. The elk park can be reached in 20 minutes. Plan around an hour's drive for a trip to the sea. The famous Öland can also be reached in 2 hours. Our contact person Finn speaks Swedish, English and a little German.
A rowing boat is available for you at the private jetty.
I ask all guests not to leave any fish scales or similar in the house, otherwise no reasonable additional cleaning can be done in the short time.
At the beginning of 2019 we renovated the bedrooms again and put a door between the rooms. In August 2019, the house got a new kitchen. In 2020 we renovated the guest house. With sauna, shower, terrace and a hot tub.
In 2021 the jetty was renewed and the bathing ladder.
There is a great public swimming area at the other end of the lake. This can be reached from the house by boat in about 15 minutes.
