Lovely place to stay but so difficult to get to it with all major roadworks going on. Shame about the opening hours though.

Such a cosy gem
All of the staff we met were friendly and most helpful.Our room was clean and comfortable. The bar was so well stocked and those drinking there, whether guests or locals were good company

Everything fantastic apart from the inconsiderate person above us but would recommend as in a ideal location with great view brill staff fab food and a good selection of beer spirits & wine cannot wait for our next visit

Excellent hospitality
Excellent stay at an amazing venue. From start to finish the hospitality was great. Parked the car on arrival and walked everywhere. Food was first class on our first night. Second night missed timings but given the options of having a taxi or takeaway, utensils etc brought and cleared away, nothing too much trouble. Great location for marina and town. Great atmosphere especially the entertainment on Saturday afternoon. Will definitely go back again, home from home. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so enjoyable.

Master Suite
Stayed in the master suite for one night. A really big, spacious and comfy room. The bathroom was huge with a free standing deep bath. Great selection of toiletries, and free bottled water was a nice touch, which sadly these days many hotels seem to miss. Would certainly stay again, and in this room specifically.

From the minute we arrived we were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. Every member of staff is attentive and polite. We really loved the decor and our room was perfect for our stay. We ate in on our first night and the food was delicious, great choices to. It's such a great old fashioned pub, which sadly are disappearing so quickly these days. The owner is incredibly proud of her business and so she should be, it's the best public house we've stayed in. Everything from start to finish was exceptional and we'll definitely be back.

Superb rooms excellent value for money. We stayed in the Apartment on the top floor with a good view of the Railway Dock Marina. There is a very nice bar with very good food and beer downstairs. It's only a short walk to the quay and all the shops, restaurants and bars on offer. The Deep is within easy walking distance too. There is a new footbridge over the A63 that takes you into the heart of Hull city centre. All in all the Whittington and Cat is the nicest place we have stayed at in Hull, and we have been going there to visit the wife's family since the early 80's.
