No need to sacrifice style on vacation. Welcome to Lake & Linen, your ground-level condo just steps from the water. Located on a quiet cove at Mariner's Landing, Smith Mountain Lake's most popular destination. Inclusive amenities include golf, tennis, indoor & outdoor pools, hot tubs, boat slips, jogging paths, gym, and more. Free use of two kayaks with each reservation! Close to great restaurants. Screened porch, electric grill & outdoor dining. Come to rest or play. You will not want to leave.

LOCATION: Mariner's Village in Mariner's Landing (a smaller, quieter complex than the Pointe at Mariner's Landing)

***WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT at Lake & Linen:

Linens & bath towels provided. (Please bring your own beach/pool towels.)

KITCHEN: Keurig & regular coffee maker, fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, pots/pans, salt & pepper, oil, dishware, & everything needed to cook basic meals

DINING ROOM: table for 4 & 4 upholstered bar stools

LIVING ROOM: sleeper sofa, 2 accent chairs, Amazon Fire TV, fireplace w/ gas logs

BEDROOM #1: king bed, dresser, walk in closet, micro office (desk and printer) attached bathroom w/ stand up shower, double sink vanity & toilet

You can also rent a boat or personal watercraft/Sea-doo in advance from the Bridgewater Marina hut near the pool at the Pointe at Mariners Landing.

HOUSE RULES:

1. You MUST be over the age of 25 to rent this condo.

2. No smoking or vaping within 20 feet of the doorways. (no smoking on the back porch)

3. No pets allowed. (for those with severe allergies, please note the owners bring a dog to the condo on occasion)

4. No gatherings, parties, or events allowed.

5. Quiet hours must be observed from 10pm-7am.

6. Please keep wet towels & clothing off the furniture and carpets.

Nestled in the the hills of Bedford County, Virginia, on the shores of Smith Mountain Lake, Mariners Landing is a golf and lake community with more than 1,000 rolling acres. Mariners Landing is one of the most picturesque year-round destinations with a 18-hole Robert Trent Jones, Sr. golf course, lakeside resort, country club amenities and an inviting community.

PETS: We do NOT allow pets at the condo. (sorry, we are firm) For our guests with severe allergies, please note that the owner does bring a dog on occasion to the condo.

POSSIBLE ADDITIONAL GUEST SURCHARGES

1. No Party Policy: Airbnb has announced a ban on parties. Planning a party at this property will result in an early checkout and possible fines up to $1,000.

2. $30 Towel Convenience Fee: Please use the makeup removal wipes and gray washcloths provided in each bathroom to avoid the $30 convenience fee for bath towels permanently stained.

3. $250 Pet Fee: We are animal lovers, but this is an animal free listing. (with the exception of the owners' dog) If a pet is discovered on the property, a $250 fee plus damages will be charged, and the pet(s) must be removed immediately.

A Little place of heaven
This was the perfect condo! Everything went as planned. I wish we could have stayed longer. The only reason for the 4 star on cleanliness was due to carpet stains. But that didn't prevent us for having a great time! And the hosts were quick to respond if I have questions!!! We will definitely stay there again!

This was a great property. Very nicely furnished and equipped. There were just two of us but this would be ideal for a larger family with children. It really was like a home from home. It nicely situated and handy for all the amenities the resort offers. We would definitely recommend this property- 5 star!

Lovely, tranquil vacation rental overlooking the lake!
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this condo! The kitchen was completely equipped, the shower head in the master bath was amazing and we loved enjoying our coffee and meals on the screened in porch. It was great to have the kayaks nearby, however, it was a little challenging to get them out and stow them away each day. We also would have liked to rent a SUP but were not sure where to go. We definitely recommend this walk up unit and look forward to returning in the near future.

Weekend with my son and his wife
We had a wonderful stay at this property. The condo is spacious and well maintained. We enjoyed the snacks and K-cups left by the host. The amenities were great. We spent time swimming in the pool and playing golf. We enjoyed one night at bottles and bites playing games and listening to music. The property and surroundings are beautiful and relaxing.

Fun time on the water
Had a great time with the family. The place was very comfortable and stylish. We were able to rent a boat right next door which was awesome. Just be aware that while it says there is a dock be aware that there is an extra fee.

Relaxing Retreat!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this relaxing condo. Check in was easy and stress free. We enjoyed relaxing time with our friends in the spacious kitchen and living room. The 2 complimentary kayaks were an added bonus! We will definitely be back!!

Perfectly Tranquil SML
Loved everything about our stay at Mariner’s Landing. The condo was spotless, comfortable, and had an amazing view of the lake. The host even had such nice homey touches inside for us like fully stocked coffee supplies and a basket of snacks waiting. All was exactly as described and shown in the pictures. The host responded promptly to all messages. We enjoyed the kayaks and all resort amenities. Would love to come back and highly recommend this place.

Spacious condo on the lake
Great location for a family wedding taking place at the lake. The two bedroom condo layout is fabulous. The kitchen is well furnished with anything you may need for cooking or drinking. The views were fabulous. Loved the screened in porch for relaxing at night. Wish we could have stayed longer.

SML getaway with a fantastic location.
While this was a solo trip this property would be excellent for a family. Ground floor easy in and out access. Beautiful sunrise views from the back deck, and shady in the afternoon. Close to SML state park. If you are a cyclist, fantastic starting point for several rides...which will challenge your legs. Beautiful home, well appointed. Host super helpful, responsive and helpful. Bruno's has solid pub food and The Landing is great for an special dinner out. Both are right by the property. 15 minutes to the grocery store. Overall a fantastic property and I would book it again.

Clean and beautiful view
Our stay went well. At arrival, the code wasnt working on the door but the owner answered right away and we were able to get in immediately. Our only complaint was that the condo had way too many air fresheners which we had to remove because of asthma/allergies, but after they were removed everything was fine.

Anniversary Trip
We enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and comfy. We did have a small issue with the fireplace being shut off for the season and it was still chilly. We were hoping to use it but weren’t able. The location is good. You have to drive about 15 minutes to get to anything. Nothing within walking distance. Unfortunately the on-site market and Bottles & Bits don’t open until late April. It was a cozy get away so we would recommend.

Beautiful view. One of the cleaniest places we have stayed. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Starter snacks and lots of coffee. Beautiful grounds we enjoyed walking every evening. The only issue was check in. The code we were given didn't work but the number we called answered right away. Can't wait to visit again.

Celebrate July 4th at Smith Mountain Lake
We stayed at this condo with our 5 year old son over the 4th of July and had a great time. The lake is beautiful and fun all the time, but is especially special over the 4th. Lots of activities and fireworks to enjoy. The condo was immaculate and it’s a great location. Very professional management that answered all questions and provided abundant information about the area and bringing your own boat. We definitely plan to return.

Excellent long weekend!
Spent a long weekend here with my daughter and her friends for her birthday. Could not have been any happier with the property. The condo was beautifully appointed, and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and everything was as advertised. We will be back!

Acceptable, but not worth the relatively high price.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay. However, for the price charged, we feel the following were of not high enough quality: 1. Tired and worn our feel of the property 2. No electric kettle to make tea 3. No toaster to make toast in the morning 4. Lounge main TV is tiny and does not make viewing easy. Great shame 5. Air conditioning issues - owners note mentioning not to set below 70 degrees F. Most days we stayed there it was high 90"s and more, so AC bot really good enough and should have been repaired or replaced.

Relaxing 4th of July
Arrived to find plenty of parking for our three cars. Thank you for the treat basket provided to take the edge off the kiddos snack monster after a long ride. The condo is easy to get to, right near a beach area and just up the hill from the fishing dock (only caught little ones!) The kayaks were a plus and life jackets were provided. Liked that it is on the first floor from the parking area. Old knees appreciated it greatly since we were in and out alot. Area is very quiet and people were very friendly. Suggestion to future visitors - order your groceries on-line from Food Lion. It saved a ton of time and probably a lot of money since no impulse buying! Great visit and would rent again.

Great location on the lake
My husband I were looking for a weekend get away and found this to be a great location coming from Richmond. Mariners Landing is a lovely resort and it was nice having access to the amenities. We were there at the beginning of the season and not everything was open yet but found everyone at the resort to be informative and friendly. The condo is just at described and I liked being in the this area of the resort. I would stay here again.
