Beautiful Cabin!
My 3 friends and I had a great weekend trip here! From canoeing on the river to spending a day at the beach, this property was fun for everyone. Jim was very nice and available for questions or help with check in/out. Will definitely be coming here again!

Hidden little gem
Our family was in the area to spend a weekend with our Marine. It is close to Camp Lejuene and yet feels like you are truly away from it all. Our host was very responsive and made us feel welcome. Would definitely stay again.

Father & Son Trip
Went to visit my son who is in the marines. Stayed at the cabin all weekend. Very nice and relaxing. Would highly recommend this place. Close to base with plenty of things to do nearby.

Fantastic Getaway
We had a great time exploring the trails, kayaking, and fishing from the dock. The cabin was spotless and had everything we needed. The owners are great people who ensured that we had everything we needed. We can't wait to go back for a longer stay.

This was our 3rd time staying. We keep coming back because this is truly one of a kind! The workmanship on the cabin is top notch. The location and peacefulness is beyond anything. Beautiful Sylvan Cabin
This is a beautiful area, with lots of nature to explore. The cabin is right near a river that leads to the sea (though its a bit more of a paddle than we had time to do). There were walking trails, a fire pit, and the area was clean and dry. Within easy driving distance of public beaches, craft breweries, and (of course) the base. The cabin was small, but cozy, and had everything we needed for a week's stay.

Off the Beaten Path
This beautiful hand crafted cabin is ideal for anyone looking to get away but still have easy access to town. Plenty of space for a small family, a massive fire pit, canoe access to float down the river, and comfortable rocking chairs to enjoy your morning coffee on the front porch. The property manager is very easy to work with and accessible at all times. We truly enjoyed our stay and will stay again when we are in the area.

Great little vacation!
Private, secluded, cute little cabin in the woods. Needed a little vacation that wasn’t too far from home and I got it! Dock close to cabin with geeat access for my stand up paddleboard (but there is a canoe on property). A nice litte walking trail, rocking chairs, and well built outdoor firepit rounded out the stay. The owner was incredibly responsive and kind - couldn’t be more pleased and I know I’ll be back!

Dreamy!!
The cabin is perfect for a couple or small family. It is incredibly clean and well maintained. Has all the basics for a quick get away with lots of extras too! We really enjoyed using the crab pot and canoe. Owners were extremely kind. The location is ideal with a short commute to Swansboro. Photos just don’t do this little cabin justice! We will be back.

10 Yr Anniversary Stay
Such a cute and cozy cottage. SO CLEAN! The wooden stove and campfire area was a delight. Away from the hustle and bustle but close to the beach, kayaking, restaurants and SO much more. The pictures really don’t show how amazing this place is. Don’t hesitate to book, the host was AMAZING and the cabin is a gem. We will be back.

Kayakers paradise
We had an amazing weekend staying on Queen's Creek. We came down for the purpose of kayaking out to Bear Island via Hammocks Beach State Park. The cabin is very close and made a great place to stay for this. Though we enjoyed the day trip to Bear Island, the highlight was kayaking on Queens Creek, just outside the front door of this very comfortable cabin. The peacefulness and beauty of the water was amazing. Also got to see one of the local alligators on two of our kayaks down the creek. Highly recommended!

Honeymoon hideaway
Serene location. Easy access, far enough from reality to lose yourself in the tranquility offered by the surrounding nature yet close enough to several towns to not be inconvenienced by things you may have forgotten or found yourself in need of. Owner was very informative, very courteous and prompt to respond to any questions. The cabin was quaint, very lovely decorations, made use of the firepit as well as enjoyed sitting on the dock for morning coffee. Cant say enough about the location or the owner. It is definitely a must see and a must stay again for myself.

Great place!
We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very clean and had a good amount of basic supplies. Dishes and cookware were perfect. A suggestion - please include 1 or 2 hooks in the bathroom for hanging robe/clothes. Did not like having to put them on the floor while showering. A small shelf in the bath would be a welcome addition too. Thank you!
