"A welcome sight from the hotel room - overlooking the Tianjin Eye. The room was well kept and well position to see the Tianjin City. However, the toilet bowl needs a few flushes. "

"Saixiang Hotel is well-maintained, clean, comfortable, and convenient for our purpose. But we love Saixiang first and foremost because of the wonderful staff working here. The staff members at Saixiang are extremely professional, kind, and helpful. They make us feel welcome and at home. From the reservation to the front desk, from the restaurant staff and the cleaning crew and the concierge at the door, everyone was courteous and nice and eager to help out during our stay. Every request was fulfilled with speed and efficiency. The breakfast buffet is good for both Chinese and Western-style foods and drinks. We have stayed at Saixiang almost for ten years now and it has stayed wonderful year after year. We look forward to coming back. We highly recommend this hotel for leisure and business travelers, especially those traveling with family."

"Reasonably sized and comfortable room with several downsides. First was the smell of smoke whereby I requested a non-smoking room. The in room dining menu stated it was available up to 10pm but when I called at 9.45pm, I was told it was no longer available. Lastly, my colleague who book into the same room category received fruit basket and dumpling whereas I did not have any welcome items. Rather disappointed with a hotel branding that is under Westin."
