"A nice old house with enough space for us to stay. The house is old, but has everything you need to stay (although the washing machine is old, small and has low spinning so it takes some time to dry) and the wifi is poor. Lot's of opportunities for hiking in the area, and also to go with the ferry to the other side. The house is in Ortnevik (we thought it was in Bjordal) at the end of a road. Joar is a very friendly and helpfull guy, and is easy to reach. We recommend this house for a stay."

"We had an amazing stay at this cabin. Contact with the owner was very pleasant and he responded quickly everytime. The cabin was more spacious than we expected from the photos and everything you could think of was present in the house. The views were stunning."

"Superruhige Lage des Hauses mit schöner Terasse und tollem Blick auf Meer und Inseln. Sehr gute Ausstattung des Hauses. Die Betten sind jedoch viel zu weich. Das WLAN ist nicht immer konstant vorhanden, die Stärke ist aber ausreichend, um z.B. Filme zu streamen. Kontaktperson vor Ort war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. An einem Tag war die Trinkwasserversorgung unterbrochen. Das Problem wurde behoben, jedoch musste zum Kochen und Trinken vorübergehend Wasser eingekauft werden."

"Wow, Norway is amazing and beautiful — it exceeded even our already lofty expectations. And this VRBO was an excellent choice for the heart of our stay. Its picturesque location was also perfectly situated in the center of many possible day excursions. Coming from the USA, it was a long journey getting here. But the experiences, pictures, and memories that were made, created a once-in-a-lifetime caliber trip! We definitely will make every effort to come back!!!"

"Charmante maison bien isolée après un chantier. Pour atteindre la location il faut passer pas moins de deux barrières manuelles dans un chemin exigu à travers vaches et moutons. La propriété était très poussiéreuse et propre qu’en surface. Prix exorbitant pour louer des vieux draps pelucheux et allergènes. Bref passer votre chemin!"

"A very nice cottage in a beautiful area. The nature is stunning. The cottage is old which is part of its charm. Well equipped kitchen, and there is a traditional wood stove (with a troll under a bridge). Best suited for a family with small kids because the rooms upstairs are low-ceilinged. The owner is extremely helpful. We enjoyed our holiday very much."

"Das Haus war schöner und geräumiger als die Bilder zeigen. Die Ausstattung ließ sich mit dem deutschen Besitzer des Hauses im Vorfeld abstimmen. Leider gab es keine Kinderbetten (obwohl auf einem Bild zu sehen war) und keine Kinderhochstühle - das macht sich im Reisegepäck gut bemerkbar. Das Motorboot war super. Fische gibt es auch im Fjord (vor allem Leng & Rotbarsch). Wenn die nächst größere Stadt nicht so weit entfernt wäre und das Haus Internet hätte, würden wir bestimmt wiederkommen."

"Sehr freundliche und sprachgewandte Vermieter. Geben auch gerne mal einen Tipp zum Wandern oder zum Angeln. Die Lage ist etwas abgelegen, dafür ist die Natur direkt vor der Haustüre ! Für Naturliebhaber absolut zu empfehlen. Durch die ruhige Lage sind diverse Vögel zu beobachten und in der Dämmerung kann man Hirsche weiden sehen (ohne Fernglas)."
