"Excellent location on a quiet pedestrian precinct. Spacious superior room,clean and comfortable on upper floor with sea view. The best asset of any hotel is its staff who were all extremely polite, helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel to any age group."

"The gardens in which the hotel is built are beyond comparison, a real oasis. The pool is very attractive, with plenty of sunbed area around it. The beach, the local restaurants, the little shops and the bus stop are all very close, and there is a good walking route to the town of Santa Cruz avoiding the main road (50 mins)."

"The location of the hotel was very good for access to local restaurants, the bus stop and a couple of shops including a small Spar and a Hyperdino (which is just a very small convenience store). The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was fine, but the mattresses on the twin beds were worn through (we could feel the metal of the springs), and the kitchen equipment was rather sparse compared with other similar hotel room kitchenettes (for example no spatula or suitable utensil for cooking in the frying pan, no grater or sieve or vegetable knife)."
