"Lovely location, very spacious property with amazing spaces. Kitchen spacious and well equipped. Beds comfortable. bathrooms good. Great bonus as it wasn’t exactly “flaming June” was the snooker table, especially for the youngsters , there were many challenging matches! Outside facilities were great but because of the weather not uses apart from table tennis and basketball net. Plenty to see and do only a short drive away."

"We had a lovely stay at Bevan house, visiting the area to attend a wedding. The house was large and well equipped and the hit tub was really fantastic. Absolutely no issues at all and the property was clean and located in a beautiful spot. Very minor but couldn't find any scissors, other than this, no suggestions for improvement at all"

"An outstanding property in an outstanding part of Wales. I love the property and would be quite happy living there. Sadly I was only there for three nights. I stayed when it was very cold and I didn't mind the outside toilet but the shower was another matter on a cold morning. I would love to experience this in the summer months. "An absolutely immaculate, luxurious property, beautifully presented. We had a fabulous weekend. Situated in between the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons, it’s an ideal place to stay if you’re looking to explore the area. A perfect place to relax after a long days hiking. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and easy to communicate with. We had a great time, thanks Joanne and Neil, your barn is beautiful!"

"We stayed here with our kids (16,13 and 12) and it was a lovely lodge. We loved the hot tub and how peaceful the location was. I’ve given the overall rating a 3 out of 5 as I felt there were some things that could be improved. There was a lot of black mould in the bottom of the shower, there were no locks on bathroom doors and the boiler in one of the rooms was very loud and kept the kids awake at points during the night. Overall, we would come back to this lodge, however not in the summer...

"A lovely 3 night Stay in Hay on Wye. The cottage is stunning and so well located for browsing the shops, the sights and the castle and perfect to pop back and forth if needed. Very central but also very peaceful. Communication from Sue was amazing and she was really accommodating and generous throughout our stay. I would book here again in a heartbeat."
