Welcome to the North Shore House. This house is 1600 square feet, fenced in yard, accommodating 1 or 2 dogs, all 3 bedrooms face the water. Conveniently located between Brighton and Howell on a popular all Sports Lake. This is my third year listing with VRBO on the North Side of Lake Chemung, we hope you enjoy your stay! It's going to be amazing, from the early morning water skiers to the mid afternoon sounds of laughter of kids tubing, the evening fishing tournaments and enjoy a bonfire at night. (Wood Included). This will be a vacation on the lake you will never forget. You have it all here at the NORTH SHORE HOUSE on LAKE CHEMUNG!!
Enjoy the lakefront life style of this 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath Midcentury Modern Ranch with plenty of cottage flare, it's perfect for your family lake house getaway. Fantastic Water View greets you into a large open living and dining room and all 3 of the cozy bedrooms!
This quaint home is full of amenities for the ease of lake life relaxation.
The kitchen is fully equipped and connects to a large laundry/mud room with a washer and dryer. Wi-Fi, cable in the living room with Netflix and Amazon Prime help keep you connected and provide a cozy movie night in front of the large wood burning fireplace.
The 2.5 bathroom allows plenty of space to get ready for a night on he town in the happening bars and restaurants, don't forget about MSTREET Bakery.
This home has a unique large fenced in yard, pets welcome, so don't forget the dog!
Maximum 2 (FEE $30.00 PER DOG - PER DAY).
The back deck has a fully equipped propane grill and outdoor furniture, plenty of seating at the table to watch the boating activity on the water. Your very own dock is perfect for swimming, fishing and of course boating! There is a public boat launch to bring your own boat.
Don't forget to try lake life in the winter months!! Have fun ice-skating, cross-country skiing and of course ice fishing.
Close by is Kensington Metro Park, open year-round for outdoor activities and Mt. Brighton (Vail Ski Resort) just 5 minutes away.

Excellent Location on Lake
We had a great time at the lake house. We sat on the deck and enjoyed wildlife on the lake. The house was fully stocked with towels, nice pans (so grateful for an excellent skillet!) and even a hair dryer. It was wonderful to come home with clean clothes, great washer and dryer! Wonderful time, thank you!

Northshore House
This house was the perfect place for a relaxing week at the lake for our family and dogs. Full kitchen made it easy to make meals. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch and watching the lake activities.

Cozy lake house close to Ann Arbor
We stayed here for my niece’s graduation. We had fun exploring Howell, Ann Arbor and Northville. The deck has a lovely view of the lake and it is a great place to kick back. The kitchen is well appointed but there are plenty of good restaurants nearby.

Great Family Christmas gathering spot!
Spent Christmas here with family, was a perfect central gathering spot for all relatives from different areas. Well equipped kitchen for cooking, plenty of dishes and glassware. Comfortable furniture and mattresses. Felt very at home. Great yard for 2 small dogs to run around. Quiet neighborhood.

Wonderful family gathering
I’m from Michigan which is where most my close friends and family I drove in from New Hampshire and my brother drove in from Florida and we were able to spend the whole time together. We were also there for our nephews graduation party which was wonderful and people could meet at our place to all be together it was perfect. Thank you for your wonderful accommodations.

Magical Lake House
We were so fortunate to stay at this lovely lake house for over two months while our house was under construction. From the moment we walked in, it felt like home. The decorations and amenities are so well done and thought out, the stay could not be more comfortable. The fenced in yard (lakeside included) was such a plus having two small dogs and a toddler. We truly loved everything about this stay.

Loved this place! Perfect spot to enjoy the lake, with a great size yard and beautiful views. Rented a pontoon boat for 2 days from owner and this was the perfect way to enjoy the entire lake and fish; although fishing right off the dock was just as good! Enjoyed fire at night in the backyard. The house was perfectly equipped with all needed! Great memories made!

The property is just as described, the home is very cozy and very well equipped. The fenced in yard is a huge bonus, it was the first time our Shih Tzu Bruno was able to run free and he loved it!! My husband filled the bird feeders and within hours we had a wonderful outdoor show. The house offers beautiful views of the lake in several rooms. Check in was simple and our host left us a much appreciated bottle of wine. Perfect Anniversary get-a-way. Thank you!

Lake Chemung Property
The owners were super. The property was well stocked with anything you think you need and then some. The fence around the property was super, we have a puppy and she has not had the pleasure of roaming free, except at dog parks. Grandkids came over and absolutely loved going for boat rides, swimming in the lake and bonfires with s’mores. Would love to go back next year and maybe stay a bit longer.

Absolutely Perfect Lake Home
We enjoyed a long Labor Day weekend at this wonderful lake home and everything was just perfect! The home is beautiful and stocked with all the comforts and conveniences of home. The layout was optimal for our extended family with 3 bedrooms all with lake views and plenty of space to sleep for our party of 4-6 with teenagers coming and going. The beds were so comfortable and we all slept great. Bathrooms were spacious for a lake home and updated. Best part was the gorgeous fenced in yard that walked right out to the boat dock. Our chocolate lab was spoiled with easy swimming right from the yard and a safe yard to explore. We brought our pontoon and had amazing cruises around the large lake. Absolutely perfect! Can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic lake house
I was visiting family in Michigan and wanted to experience a lake house weekend like when I was a kid. This place was perfect for that. Great location close to Lansing or Detroit, while still feeling away from the city. Beautiful lot with a great back deck, fenced in back yard, swimmable beach, and boat deck. I was able to rent a boat during my trip, which was fun to get out on the lake. And we loved sitting on the back deck during sunset, enjoying the outdoors and watching the fireflies. Inside there is plenty of space for a family vacation. Lots of bed space and plenty of bathrooms. The home also had everything you need to feel at home yourself. Checkin was easy. Communication fantastic. I highly recommended this lake house.

You simply couldn’t ask for more by staying at the North Shore House and having Sandra and Rob as your hosts. The house is the perfect lake house. It is impeccably decorated, clean and beautiful, yet so cozy and warm. The house is so well stocked with anything you might need. If it’s not there, you can get by without it. Sandra has thought of everything. If you have questions about anything, they are right there to answer or help. You will not be disappointed. This was our first stay at the North Shore but already planning to return again next year. Thank you for a perfect week. Steve and Vicki

Awesome Cottage
Our family recently stayed here for the Fourth of July week. This home had everything we needed. Located on the north shore of Lake Chemung, we enjoyed boating, swimming and watching the swans go by. We thoroughly enjoyed the fenced in yard as we had a little one with us. We had four adults and four children ages 11, 9, 4, and 18 months. We were close to family in the area and everyone that visited loved the home. Beds were comfortable, window air conditioners provided enough cooling even on a 90° day. We thoroughly enjoyed the deck with seating for 10. We were thankful for 2 1/2 baths and a well-stocked kitchen. We utilize the washer and the dryer. The furnishings were top-notch. If you are looking for a hidden gem in the Howell area, this is the place. Owners were very responsive to any and all questions we had. We look forward to visiting again.

Lake house
The house was so beautiful!!! It is on the lake and plenty of places to eat within 10mins. Also a grocery store and Walmart 10 mins away. Location is safe and quite. Check in and out was easy. The kitchen is fully stocked !!! Plenty of linens and dish soap and laundry soap etc TVs in all 3 bedrooms and one main room. Comfy beds Pontoon available to rent House does not have central air however there are ac units in all 3 bedrooms and the main living room. We went in 1st week of august and house was fine we turned off the ac during the day came back and turned them on and place was cooled down quickly Also house does not have city water but they have water softener and a filtration system. So of you are not used to that water has a sulfee smell. Bring some bottled water I still give this house 5 stars and we will be back and I highly recommend the house. It is super cool and has great view of the lake great sunsets and a fire pit

Family time
I only wish we had more time at this home. We loved everything about it as we have family close by to drop in during our week. Nicely furnished, cozy , outside amenities were outstanding. Hope we can return next year.
