Great place and communication strong dog smell
My stay was great, I let the owner know about the strong dog smell and She stated no dogs are allowed but I also provided pictures of a chair full of dog hair. The owner sent the cleaner out asap and he tried his best to get rid of the smell but it remained. He cleaned the chair and left some spray and my trip was great beyond the smell.

The communication was great! The place also was Great! my only complaint was the sleeper sofa did not provide for a comfortable seating and the extreme loud street noise each night.

Clean, pleasant, well decorated, but not as advertised
We were impressed by the overall look and feel of the Vrbo. Beautiful wood staircase, and some charm of an older home that has been well-kept, decorated, organized, and cleaned stunningly. The only issue we had (and it was a bit of a problem) was that the Vrbo was advertised as having amenities it didn’t have, such as a crib. We chose this property specifically because it had a crib. When we checked in, we messaged and asked where we could find the crib, but did not get a response until the next day. We had already had to find our own solution by then. This would not have been a problem if the amenities had been advertised correctly.

A Cozy Rustic Chic Apartment with nearby access to stores and attractions.
We had wonderful stay at Gloria’s apartment. The location could not be better, very central, short walking distance from some stores and a few main attractions. The apartment was overall pretty clean, nicely decorated and well equipped, ideal for 4 people. Gloria was very helpful upon check in and check out and easily accessible when we had any questions/ requests.

Unexpected stay
My father in law was in the ICU in Texas and we had an unexpected trip down there to see him. The host helped accommodate our changing dates and we were very thankful for her help. It was a nice place to rest during a hard time.

Good place, but there are several clubs in the area, so it gets pretty rowdy at weekend nights. The place is decent enough, and the central aircon is wonderful. But there are a few things missings, for example a water boiler jug, a decent pot (the one that’s there has quite a lot of the Teflon scraped off… that’s just unhealthy!), the hot water flow was a bit weak, and a piece of the flooring has come off (my daughter tripped on it. I didn’t get a response when I emailed the host. Overall, it’s good, but not excellent. Hence the four stars.

Great place and location. Lots of convenience in terms of amenities and comfort. The only note I will make is that at times it could get a little noisy in the area between highway noise and loud music, but most times the music/loud bass subsided by 9 or 10pm.

Cute and clean!
Clean and exactly as described. Very easy to get in and out of. The residents who live on the property were friendly. Located right off the highway so the sound machines in the bedrooms were perfect!! We were in town for an event at NRG and it was only a 15 minute drive to get back the property AFTER the event!

It’s an adorable 2 Br apartment on the 2nd floor. Very spacious and super clean. Large modern TV that easily accepted our FireStick. Beds comfortable and excellent toiletries. Beautiful wooden floors.

Stayed at this property in Feb 2023. Great location in Museum District - museum, park and Rice University all within walking distance. Downtown Houston a short Uber ride away. Property was clean and well stocked, would definitely stay again.
