To start, the host messaged me the wrong address and I showed up at a stranger’s door. Finally found the place, my Uber driver didn’t even want to drop me off there the neighborhood is known to be so dangerous. The complex in dirty and buggy. Saw rats climbing stairs and running down the halls. As soon as we got there we wanted to leave. Due to medical reasons it took us a day or two to be able to get ourselves together to go and there were bugs crawling out of out of the corners of the walls, along the floor boards, up the walls and flying around the apartment. There were stains all over the couch, dirty socks stuffed underneath. None of the bedding or towels were clean there was lint and dust everywhere and within 20mins of arriving a stranger knocked on the door wanting to do laundry. The tv’s didn’t even work and the Wi-Fi was not available. Talked to the host about the situation. They said no one had ever had any problem there before and said he would call his manager. Never heard back from them. Had to contact Virbo and start and internal review. Horrible, horrible.
