Upon checking in, the room toilet flushed once, and then wouldn’t flush again. It wasn’t clogged. Just wouldn’t flush. I called the front desk and they said the maintenance person was gone for the day, but he so kindly offered for me to come get a plunger from the front desk. Are you kidding me??
Not, “we will get you into another room”. No. It was, come get a plunger. We went out to eat then came back. When we got back around 9pm, the front lobby was full of people, playing music and doing who knows what. We felt very out of place.
In the am, we came down for breakfast at 7:30 and the dining area was packed with no seating.
We checked out and the am front desk worker was slightly sympathetic to the toilet situation. He said, “yeah they should have offered you another room”.
No discount, no comp. No, just “sorry about that. Hope to see you back”.
