The place was clean and very nice and if I had to make future trips to Houston, I would’ve stayed there but getting a hold of the owner/property manager was a difficult to say the least. The key card didn’t work half the time, which prevented us from accessing the pool and getting into the property itself! The code to get into the apartment worked, but the device required a new battery and luckily my husband had packed with us and replaced. We called the owner and he said he would call “someone” And she showed two hours later…missing lightbulbs, 1 of the dining room chairs was sitting outside broken, my husband fixed it by going to a hardware store to purchase screws. One of the other chairs was also close to falling apart, but we didn’t do anything to fix that. The washer was broken and required a repair from property staff, only to find out it couldn’t be fixed and they just replaced it with a new one. There were 3 towels For a whole weekday for two people. There was no soap or shampoo. We Planned on buying food to cook there, but didn’t realize we would have to buy additional towels, dish, detergent, tabs, laundry tabs are dryer sheets. Normally, these things are provided during a stay with any place booked through Vrbo… We went to the Leasing office after We checked out and found out that the guy listing the property didn’t even own it. It’s owned by a private company, and we’re thinking He was unable to finish out his lease, so he rented it out as an Airbnb.
