I’ve had several stays at this property, but it seems that the building has aged since my last stay a year ago. Staff is friendly as always. The 9th floor Lakeside view was my reserved room. After I reached the 9th floor there were parts of the ceiling hanging down and a moldy smell. I requested another room so the manager said she would place me on the 6th floor but no lakeside view, and would take $20 off my room rate. That was fine but also noticed in that room there was a plumbing sound coming from the bathroom sink. The stay was ok but I noticed a lot of change in the building quality.

We stayed 3 nights & they only clean every other night. However they came to early (8 am), we asked them to come back, even spoke to front desk mgr to confirm cleaning but returned to room with no room service which meant NO towels to shower. Waited 1/2 hr for someone to come. Front desk just blamed mistake on house keeping. Just not good customer service. Our room view over lake was nice

Overall average hotel. Room would not cool down because no vent in the bedroom area, rather in the common space around the sofa. Had a weird smell to the room. Breakfast was good, staff was nice. Convenient location in sugar land.
