"Very luxurious stay. Incredible room - beautiful finishings and a view overlooking the lovely courtyard. The setting is lovely with a vineyard on site with a terrace. The staff were really friendly. The restaurant in Bages was a 5 minute walk and was lovely also although unless you have a car (or arrange a taxi which can be quite expensive we foune) there are not so many options around other than that but the hotel itself is nice enough to want to stay! "

"I know the phrase "hidden gem" is thrown around too frequently these days, but this villa was just that. Easy to book, find and check-in, the villa is nestled in a very peaceful small village just a few km from the most amazing beach, with a superb boulangerie, local shop and restaurant all within walking distance from the front door. The villa itself was well equipped, comfy and we settled in really quickly. It was incredibly clean and the facilities meant we could have easily spent the whole week just in the villa; Pool with removable cover, jacuzzi, sauna, table football, ping-pong table, BBQ, board games TV, blu-ray player and fast wifi. Sylvain was a lovely chap; friendly, polite and explained everything really well and answered all of our questions which really helped us to settle into the holiday easily. I have no-doubt that we will be visiting again! "

"Pour une location à 1200 euros la semaine je suis très déçu. Est indiqué 2 chambres alors qu’il n’y en a qu’une seule. Il faut aimer la promiscuité comme les 2 chambres sont séparées par un simple rideau. Ma déception vient certainement des photos qui ne montrent jamais que les 4 lits sont dans la même chambre. Question propreté j’ai dû laver les poêles, casseroles et saladiers. Pour le barbecue prévu, penser à amener votre grille et autres ustensiles. Plancha déconseillée. Elle n’a pas été nettoyée depuis longtemps. L’année prochaine je reloue mais à côté pour 800 euros au lieu de 1200 pour la même période. A ÉVITER ! P.S. : j’ai des photos au cas où vous seriez intéressés. "

"We went with my son age 9 and he loved the pools. It was very handy for the beautiful beach and Atlantic Sea. It was also very convenient for the Carrefour Contact supermarket and all the bars, shops and restaurants in town. We had a studio for x4 people ( we were a group of 3) and it was perfectly adequate. Very clen and a nice balcony. It was a bit small, but much bigger than where we had briefly stayed before going there. But we booked very much at the last minute and we liked it. We would like to come again and book a larger apartment. There is no air con, but we had two plug in fans that we had bought with us, so those and the balcony door being left open when we were there , was fine. "

"We have just spent half term with our grandchildren at Sylvain’s property. The property was very secure, completely enclosed. The pool cover was lockable to avoid any accidents. The pool was heated which was a bonus. There was plenty of outside space for relaxing and dining. Inside, the living area was spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. The fridge freezer having an ice cube dispenser was handy. Sylvain responded well to any issues, or questions we had. The one thing that could have been improved was the information folder. Maybe some recommendations for restaurants, activities and supermarkets. We all had a great time."

"If you are looking for a quiet countryside experience in the Bordeaux region with some of the most caring and adorable hosts possible look no further. The rooms are very comfortable, the breakfast is always fresh and a great way to start a day of wine exploration in the region, and the overall atmosphere is very clean, peaceful and relaxing. The crew that manages the guests are genuinely helpful and will go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. They patiently answered a thousand questions, even made dinner for us after their kitchen was closed when we came home hungry. The crew made our stay extra special. Notice i said come home. Thats how you feel at Chateau Meyre. At home!! Note: the Chateau is a bit remote and you need a rental car preferably or the chateau can find you a taxi but be prepared to pay for it since the distance to Bordeaux city and varied food options is a bit far. Highly recommend for an adorable French countryside experience. "
