"Awesome we will be back"

"Accommodation is as described. Clean and tidy. Comfortable beds and couch. For elderly parents it was easy access in and out of the cottage. I wasn't keen on the toilet and shower in the same space, but we made do. The cottage is behind John's place, next to the avocado orchard. Weirdly, this wasn't an issue, and didn't feel intrusive as we hardly saw or heard John as ran his daily errands. We saw more of his dog Bo. He's a lovely old dog, well trained and tends to lounge by the front door or porch when he's bored with own place. I'm not a dog person and even I liked Bo. "

"Great hosts, welcoming and knowledgeable, comfy beds, fast wifi, amazing view from the table of the etsuary. Plenty of space for kids to run, manu off the wharf if you've got the guts! Horses roam freely here, be aware when driving in, a blessing to get a pat. Where puppies play on the tidal flats, they just love a belly scratch. The sky and stars were stunning most nights made it hard to want to go to bed. Its just never enough time, and so hard to leave the beautiful sunrises and sunsets behind us, but its not forever..we'll be back!! Looking forward to next time, much love for hosting us and thankyou from our whanau."

"The Shell Cottage was a perfect accommodation for us for a few days while we explored the Aupouri Peninsula. The cottage was very clean, well stocked with everything we needed and right next door to grocery, take away, restaurant - and liquor!! Also loved walking down to the wharf every morning and at sunset to watch to world go by. Lisa was a great host and was very responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely recommend!!"

"We loved our stay! There were several activities for the kids including a trampoline, play ground, and games room. It’s right next to a gorgeous beach. We had a bbq area right outside our room which was great. Our cabin was small but had everything we needed. Would definitely love to come back!"

"The property and location were stunning. It was perfect for our 3 generations of family. The cabins to have separate spaces were great for a bit of quiet time and privacy, and the beautiful and well equipped house and deck area was exactly what we needed for shared time together. It felt like we were in another world being in the bush and we had so many walks down to the beach together. The dog came on his first big holiday with us and he was the happiest family member by far! Everything we needed was there and I would definitely come back!"
