"Very tranquil place at this time of year , maybe busy in the summer, families type place , lovely contemporary room , open fireplace bungalows available also , lots of walks and cycle routes ,pool and wellness abit dated and the only negative were the restaurant staff ...maybe just a bad day . 9/10"

"The hotel was fine, the service was terrible. We had to wait a long time to check in. We had dinner at the hotel and had to wait for 2 hours get our food, with no apology or compensation. A steak was overcooked and when we pointed this out, the server challenged us and said it was fine. We were so hungry we ate the meal, but would never eat here again."

"At two occasions, I sent emails to the property asking simple questions, such as whether I'd need an extension cord to hook up my CPAP machine. Although I wrote in perfect French, on both occasions, my e-mails were ignored. I found this so rude, I almost cancelled my reservation for another property. I'm glad I didn't, because the property is pleasant and quiet, and their superior rooms are quite comfortable. Breakfasts are decent (I was offered scrambled eggs the 2nd, but not the first day)....

"Love this hotel. They are undergoing a big renovation, so the bar was closed and the restaurants was limited on space. The lobby was under construction. Other than that, it was a lovely hotel. The breakfast was amazing. We will definitely be back "

"We checked in at 9 pm no one at the desk. 2 singles was a queen bed with 2 duvets for my son and I both over 6 foot. Took turns sleeping on the floor after asking for extra duvets which never arrived nor was the room serviced . Not better than a campsite . Be warned"

"Ideally located within this small village. Staff were very friendly and we were able to park a few hundred yards up the road. The restaurant was lovely and we had a great breakfast. We stayed in a suite/family room. It was clean and a great space, but very dated and could do wuth a refresh. Felt like it was in the 80s. But that said we had a good stay and would go back."

"Amazing accommodation for a group of friends. We stayed 2 weeks, mainly for the purpose of going to Euro 2024 games, but also to do some hiking and sightseeing. The villa was fantastic for a group of friends, with great social and leisure spaces, especially the terrace, pool and sauna and various games. We didn’t always have great weather, but the villa had so much to do inside, plus a cosy fire, that it didn’t matter if it rained. Monschau is an absolutely stunning place and the surrounding countryside was beautiful. Pascal was a very helpful host and met us on arrival, and also gave us some great trips for places to visit. All in all a great two weeks."
