Private spot from other RVs, with an amazing view (this is not your normal RV park ;). We love to see pets join the vacation. If you are bringing more than 1 pet, please contact first before booking. The pet fee is for 1 pet.

Beautiful view over hot brook canyon.

King size master, bunk room with double and single beds. Sofa bed in living room for 2. Sleeps 7 total.

Brand new deck just added, for the hot tub and nice place to sit and relax.

Let us know if you would like the 4 person hot tub during your visit.

Nice large bathroom and shower, fireplace, 39in popup tv with dish service, dinning table inside and outside under the 20ft awning.

Lots of big windows to enjoy the canyon views throughout your entire stay.

Ac, stove, frig, WiFi... All the comforts of home. Coffee pot is a combo Keurig / drip.

Enjoy everything from beautiful sunrises to amazing sunsets.

Rv is parked in a secluded area in the trees close to the cliff, but still easy to get to with a car or motorcycle and well hidden from the main house.

Please remember this is a RV/Camping experience, the RV does have AC, but in the hot summer months we can not guarantee the RV will be as cool as your home. The nights typically drop down in the 50's/60s even in the summer, so with open windows, it usually is very comfortable sleeping.

Great stay!
It was a fantastic place to stay! Well appointed and very comfortable. The views were amazing and the outdoor space is perfect to hang out on all day. The only issue we had was the shower didnt have any water pressure so we resorted to wash cloths for bathing.

Amazing stay!
We had an amazing time! Waking up to the beautiful view of the canyon was our favorite part of our stay. The Sandpiper was perfect for the 2 of us. Very clean and the bed was sooo comfy! Sitting around the fire at night was very relaxing and the visit from the mule deer was such a nice surprise! Our dog enjoyed it as well. Thank you for an amazing time at your little slice of heaven!

Sandpiper was a great place to stay. Very nice RV with all the comforts of home. The location and view from the cliff are unbeatable, it's a great place to sit and relax and take in the view. Pam and Wade were excellent hosts, very friendly and responsive to anything we needed. Wish we had time to stay here longer!

Best View In The Hills
My husband and I and our little dog stayed with the Evans for almost a week and loved every minute of it! Delightful Hideaway
This was just as described, and very well needed.. the hot tub was great for both us and the kids. The hosts were great and readily available for anything needed. Wade and Patricia were awesome. I would love to come back and maybe try another spot and highly recommend this site. The only caution I would say is if you have a toddler there is a cliff. We roped it off and it was fine 😊

What a view!
We were so excited someone cancelled so we could grab this listing for our vacation. It did not disappoint! We had everything we needed for our stay plus! We loved the hammock and the hot tub, but you just can't beat the view. Owner's were there when needed and communication was great. Thank you for sharing!

Our three boys were in heaven at this property. Hosts were personable, attentive when needed, but we also had space. The RV is absolutely beautiful and so is location. Felt like a little of the outdoors with total luxury. Pics don't do it justice. Near mammoth site and wind cave and not too far from other big sights. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

Fantastic !! I suppose that wade should invest in a couple new mattresses for the hide a bed and the bunk bed -- but the main bedroom and bed was wonderful. Some of the outside lights did not work, but we managed. The gray water filled up after taking only 4 showers, but we were leaving anyway that day.

Perfect place to get away!
We've stayed at Evans Cliff three times now. This was the first time in the Sandpiper. We've always been very happy with the cleanliness, available linens/kitchen supplies and ease of access. The hosts are so polite and kind. They are right there if you need them, but out of sight if you want privacy. It's a great place to shut off and relax, but it's also not far from attractions and dining if you prefer to be out and about during the day. Thanks again!

Little piece of heaven
Where to start? This place is amazing. The location is absolutely beautiful. It's remote yet close enough to use it as a home base to explore the area. Wade and Patricia are super hosts. They especially great with the kids! The kids LOVED to visit the them everyday and hang with all their four legged family members, Toy, Buttercup, Willy and Waylon. I think they adopted them as their 3rd set of grandparents. We were very sad to leave but hopefully we will return sometime in the near future. A Must See!
Well I must say this place is one of the best place to go and we will be back time and time again.. We enjoyed our stay so much we even have thought of moving there! The Evans are simply amazing and totally accommodating. They had everything we needed and more! The property is outstanding, with lots of privacy and fantastic veiws! This was the best vacation our family of four has had.. We even had kids ages 6 and almost 2 and they had more fun then us! The Rv is beautiful with everything you need including a hot tub to enjoy the chilly days while soaking in the view. There was tons to explore and places to even go visit with in reasonable driving distance plus we seen amazing things along drives. If you're looking for a place with privacy and the wonders of nature this is totally it while still having the mondern comforts! You can be a tourist and feel at home all at the same time! I would recommend this place to everyone!

A slice of Heaven
My husband and I were fortunate to find these accommodations. What a super fun concept! We enjoyed everything about staying with Wade and Patricia. First of all, the drive up to their place is just beautiful with the red rock canyon not to mention the drive through Custer State Park. This starts setting you up for the location. Yes, they have four RVs set up on VRBO on their property, but you feel like you are in your own little camp spot. They've thought of everything, and everything is so comfortable. The Sandpiper is brand new, so it's top notch. The outside outdoors are amazing not only because of the views but because they've thought of everything. The fire pit is just beautiful with cowboy scenes highlighted by the campfire. They've placed firewood right there for you or close by to use. The views are to die for on the property. You walk to the end of the property to rock cliffs where you look out into a valley with mountain views. The hot tub was simply a fantastic idea to complete their concept. These folks have done it right. We got a little SD into our pores as a result - the real SD. We are thankful to have run into such a wonderful family. This VRBO brings the mind back to a place of peace and serenity. What a great place to spend our 10th wedding anniversary. Thanks Wade and Patricia...for everything!

What a great stay in the Black Hills (VRBO Rental #630035)!!
We can't express, in just words, what an enjoyable time we had staying in Wade & Patricia's RV on their property in the Black Hills. Even though, they are located an hour south of the main attractions (e.g., Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Sylvan Lake to name a few), it was well worth it for the following reasons: 1) Their RV's come fully equipped with all the amenities needed to fully enjoy your stay there (The pics don't do it justice)*Note* If you don't bring groceries, just go to Sonny's Super Foods in Hot Springs as they have everything you need at very reasonable prices 2) Their RV's have some of the nicest views of any place we've ever stayed at and it is very peaceful (away from the usual, holiday hustle & bustle) 3) Despite the 1-hour trip north to the main attractions, it's the beautiful sites/scenery along the way that makes it such a nice drive (be sure to take Needles Hwy. and/or Iron Mountain Rd.) *Note* Trust us, you won't be disappointed and you will stop several times for pics as there are numerous viewpoints/turn-offs for you to easily park 4) There are also things nearby, within 15-30 minutes drive, you can experience as well (e.g., The Mammoth Site, the wildlife loop drive, the Wind Cave, Evan's Plunge, etc.) 5) They are very pet-friendly. We can't even begin to tell you how appreciative we were of Wade & Patricia to check in on our dog and even take her out to play with their dogs 6) You'd be hard-pressed to come across people more down-to-earth, helpful, and accommodating than these genuinely nice folks I could go and on, but it's best you see for yourself. Truth is, the selfish part of us didn't want to write this review, so that we could keep this little hideaway a secret, but that would be a disservice to Wade & Patricia who treated us so well. Rest assured, we will be back! Sooner rather than later. Enjoy your stay there!
