"Hotel charming old building with decent decor and furniture. Hotel staff were very friendly with excellent service at the bar, breakfast, dinner and room cleaning. Stayed 2 nights food was very good on both nights. At the back of the hotel is a good sized car park. Lyndhurst town centre is very limited for shops however the hotel is in a great position to explore the New Forest. Would stay again."

"I gave comfort a 4 simply because I don't find soft pillows help me sleep - but when we stayed here before the housekeeper gave us firmer pillows when we asked. Overall a lovely stay and delicious breakfast. "

"We stayed on 12th February 2025 in room 35. The hotel is very traditional. The lady at check-in was friendly helpful and kind. The hotel has a swimming pool which was lovely and warm. The room and shower room were clean. Free parking on site a huge bonus. Breakfast was delicious everything cooked perfectly. It was in a huge traditional staffed dining room. The Laguna is about five minutes stroll to Bournemouth town centre through two underpasses. Location brilliant for the town centre. We would definitely stay again. Its old fashioned quirky and we loved it. Good value too. "

"We love staying at the Knoll house, it’s a very unique hotel in such a lovely setting. You can walk across the road to the beach. It is perfect for dogs. It is a five minute ride from Swanage. There is a bus that stops right outside the hotel and will take you to sandbanks or Swanage it is surrounded by so much countryside and nature. It’s a wonderful place. Our dog loves it as well.👍"
