"Kind people operating it. The property has a great view to the Pico Mountain, there are multiple houses lined up on a small street. It's a very peaceful vibe. It's within walking distance (an a beautiful walk - nice village with flowers, and fruits) to a cafe/bakery, a couple of restaurants, and a nice natural pool for swimming."

"This is a great place to stay if you’re looking to be close to the ferry port. It’s about a 15 minute walk downtown, which is great to enjoy the awesome restaurants Horta has to offer. Unfortunately, the loft does get hot as the AC does not travel well up into the sleeping quarters. Clean and comfortable."

"We really enjoyed our stay in Faial. The apartment is spacious, stocked and in a nice location. We had some people with mobility issues and the stairs were hard for them. Be aware there is no handrail. Enjoy the views, they are incredible."

"My friend and I very much enjoyed our stay. Patricia the host was very accomodating. The house was laid out in a way where we each slept well in separate bedrooms, but could lounge in the front room. The outdoor patio had a fantstic view! Close to swimming and a fun cafe and an easy walk to the marina and shops. We could even use a washer, which helped.
