Come relax, unwind, and enjoy the mountains! Beautiful log cabin nestled in the woods on a secluded 5 acres with a pond. There are two enclosed bedrooms (each with a queen bed), a futon in the loft, and two sleeper sofas - one on the main level, and one in the basement. Two full kitchens, two and a half baths, and two wood burning fireplaces. Flat screen TVs with satellite service and WiFi. Wrap around deck, with a covered, rocking chair back porch overlooking the pond. Cabin is not child-proof.

Another great vacation at Red Fox Den. We absolutely love this cabin nestled away in the woods but so close to everything. Anne is a great host and always make sure we are taken care of and happy! Can't wait for our next visit!

Great getaway

Anne’s cabin was great. Five of us spent a week there for biking and hiking in the mountains and side trips to Asheville. Ate and spent our evenings hanging out on the back deck. Kitchen was well supplied, and the basement billiards room was fun.

Another Wonderful Stay!
This is our fourth time visiting the Red Fox Den and we keep coming back for the same reason; this place is special! The cabin has everything we need and it feels so homey and comfortable. The location is perfect for us as it feels secluded when you're on the property and yet close enough to the highways that you can get anywhere you need quickly. We love the wrap-around porch and spend mornings and evenings there enjoying the mountain air and the view. I can't say enough good things about this cabin and we look forward to our next visit!!

This is a great cabin in the woods. No complaints about the cabin. all the amenities. quiet at night and would often see deer in the morning. The only drawback, it is about 3/4 mile down a one lane fire road.

Private Getaway
If you would like to be away from everything and enjoy your significant other.....this is the place for you! Beautiful home and gorgeous location. Furnishings and comfort are top notch, however did miss wifi. Home is very secluded with a great deck to enjoy nature from. If privacy you want, you will not be disappointed.

Second Visit to this Wonderful Cabin
This cabin has absolutely everything, the location is perfect for peace and quiet, watching nature from the back porch, sitting in front of the cozy wood burning fireplace, or taking a short drive to see the gardens at the Biltmore, or eat lunch at the Grove Park Inn. We also spent a day at the Pisgah National Forest, but our best times were at the cabin, enjoying the antique furniture and all the cute decor. We tried 2 new recipes, the kitchen is perfectly set up for that, lots of workspace at the right height. Bird watching is a new hobby, there are binoculars at the cabin if you forget yours. We also saw deer, hummingbirds, monarch butterflies, and one night we heard two owls hooting back and forth. The cabin is ideal for a family, 2 couples and a third guest, or just a couple who need some peace and quiet to reconnect. We will be back in 2025!

Perfect!
My wife and I just spent 2 weeks in this charming, well-kept, serine cabin. This was our second stay here and we just love this place. It is physically close to all the conveniences in life but you feel so far away from it. We spent most of our days hiking the wonderful trails of nearby Pisgah and Dupont Forests. We really enjoyed spending the evenings on the back porch listening to the frogs and Katydids come to life as the sun would set.

Paradise and Perfect!
We just completed our third stay at this wonderful property! We absolutely love the peace, serenity, and coziness this cabin provides! The Property Manager Anne communicated with us prior to and during our stay to make sure everything was perfect, and it was! The cabin is close to everything we need in our daily lives like groceries, restaurants, and entertainment. The internet connection is very stable and good. At the property, you feel so removed from the world. We love to spend our days hiking in the area trails and then relaxing in the evenings and mornings around the property. It will continue to be our "go-to" property when we are in the area.

This Cabin Is A Gem
My husband and I needed a break from our busy street, my job, our phones and computers, this cabin was perfect for us. We loved everything about it, the decor and furnishings were so lovely, the wrap around porch was wonderful. We like to cook, the kitchen had everything we needed. Instead or hearing cars go by, we heard birds and frogs. It truly is as secluded as the other reviews have mentioned, and the setting is beautiful. We were happy it was cool in the mornings, we had unlimited wood for a fire, which just added to our enjoyment. We did have an issue with the electricity and water going out, this was due to the power being cut because of a repair situation, nothing to do with the cabin at all. . Anne was very concerned and tried to reach us several times to let us know what the issue was. If there is ever a problem, she will take care of it right away. We can't wait to come back next spring.

Perfect Setting & Charming Cabin
We just spent 2 weeks at this awesome cabin! After staying at a couple other cabins over the years in North Carolina we had a short list of needs that Red Fox Den hit perfectly. 1- Larger amount of property. The land this cabin is built is really beautiful. We enjoyed walking through the woods and walking down to the pond that is on the property. 2- As a small business owner I needed good internet while away. This cabin has great internet service. 3-Close to amenities like grocery stores. The Ingles Supermarket is a 10-12 minute drive away. The cabin itself is very clean, nicely decorated and really exceeded my expectations. We cooked 13 of the nights we were there and the kitchen had everything that we needed to make our meals. The grill on the front patio worked well for us too. The master bedroom with ensuite bathroom on the main floor was nice sized with plenty of closet and drawer space for our clothing. Our son stayed in the upstairs bathroom which was also nicely sized and also had a nice ensuite bathroom. The basement level was a great entertainment area with a large TV, multiple seating areas around the large fireplace and our favorite area was the pool table and dart board area. We had nightly family pool tournaments and great bonding time which is hard to come by these days! The wrap around patio area was also great! We often sat out on the chairs reading a book or just listening to the sounds of nature and the stream running through the woods. We had many of our dinners on the picnic table as well. Brad was really great and communicative. On our second day he reached out about the low water pressure that the previous tenant had encountered and immediately had it fixed. I thought that it was just the way it was! Well it wasn't it after his maintenance crew left there was plenty of water pressure for us. Typically when we vacation towards the end we are always ready to go home. When pulling away from Red Fox Den we all had a lump in our throat not wanting to leave. We can't wait till next summer where we will be back at this perfect home. Thanks for sharing your property with us Brad! We really loved it.
