Caribbean Shores was in an excellent location in the Hotel section in Hopkins. Parking was adequate and the rooms were nice, clean and quiet.
That said, the kitchen was not very well equipped -Two BIG pots, one frying pan, no sauce pans or smaller pans for cooking/boiling rice and/or vegetables. The Flatware was almost adequate. We had to improvise on the ice making, using tupperware containers with a shallow amount of water that we froze and then broke up for ice for our "Libations".
A word of caution: (this is NOT their fault) - bring a surge protected Power Strip. We had a power outage and when it recovered, we found our charging cables fried - fortunately our devices were not damaged, but we had no way to charge our phones after that happened.
The internet is iffy at times -I suggest that they get a MESH extenders for the buildings. We could find the signal by moving around the area until we got a strong signal. But hey, we were on vacation and the internet is way too distracting.
I would recommend this place regardless of the kitchen situation - that can be easily fixed.
