Great place in a great location
Super clean and had all the little things we needed to make our 3 nights there awesome including outdoor stove and pots/pans/dishes. Wade lives in the back building and will have your keys for you and get you setup with bikes to check out. He has all sorts of suggestions and knowledge of the area too. He will also take you pedalboarding ( not paddleboarding, its different) for a very reasonable price if the ocean is cooperating. Realize that it is at the heart of the town on the main street and there is some road noise in the rooms due to that, but nothing crazy. Several Restaurants in the area that didnt show up on Google maps. Place right across the street had a good inexpensive breakfast. 30 minute or less drive to Cockscomb/jaguar preserve and Bocawina for some great waterfall hikes.

Wade is an awesome host! So laid back and welcoming...we couldn’t have asked for anyone better! Wade’s tips and suggestions made our trip amazing! We hiked and saw waterfalls, tubed down a lazy river, snorkled, zipped-lined through the jungle and toured an old sugar mill, all through the expert advice of Wade! The accommodation was perfect for us too! Clean clean clean, with full kitchen, living room area, and bedroom with a comfy bed to crash in after a day of activity! There is a store a short walk up the road, and a fruit stand right beside the property to buy fresh bananas, papaya, and watermelon. The coffee shop across the street (Thongs) offers great food for breakfast and refreshing fruit juices. We hope to have the opportunity to stay here again one day soon.
