Great stay!
Quiet location by the lake, I chose due to the closeness of local friends. Wonderful nature sounds awake you each morning. Would recommend for anyone who needs a place to crash in the area!

Lovely Spot
I liked the feel of the property and the host is welcoming and accommodating. I liked being in the center of Hopatcong and just a short drive away from great amenities in Roxbury/Succasunna.

Great Location for a getaway
Rustic quiet cozy place. Table ashtray amd chairs provided Oppertunity available to grill outside. Host lives nearby and easy to communicate with.

Lake Hopatcong is a unic place for relaxing nad enjoy it's beauty.
This property is a perfect place for relaxing and be away from City life for few day or week. We meet a friendly owner and friendly neighbor to. We had a good time here.

The cottage was very tiny, but neat and clean. We only stayed the one night as we were in town to see a friend play at a restaurant nearby! We will certainly stay again if we should ever be in town again!

Great for a certain type of trip.
Wouldn’t recommend this location as a vacation spot or getaway for a couple. But it’s a great option for someone in the area for work or just passing through. It is clean, easy to access, and ran by a kind and responsive host.

Perfect!
It was great stay in the perfect location for us. Vlad was VERY accommodating. There was also access to a firepit that was lit every evening during our stay. The amenities didn't mention the little electric double burner for when you want to want to cook for yourself - we were so happy to find that! We can't say enough about it and will refer to our friends for sure!

Vladamir was very nice and available. The property is exactly as it looks online. It's basic but is clean which is what we wanted. The water was hot, the heat worked well and the atmosphere is cozy.

Sweet cottage
Cottage was just as advertised. Cozy, warm, clean, homey. Vladimir was the perfect host-was there when we arrived, showed and explained amenities and built a fire in the fire pit for us both nights. He was friendly and kind, made sure we had all we need. Will definitely be back as we go to boat races every September. Highly recommend.

Cozy Cottage
Visiting family in town and just needed a place to sleep. Cottage was small and cozy, owner very accommodating. We did have an issue with key when trying to get in one night and he came right over and assisted. Had everything we needed for our family of 4. Only cons were driveway to get to cottage was rough. Main bed could be bigger, there is plenty of space for a King bed, even a Queen would be better. Full size bed needs an upgrade. Futon was amazing. Overall it was just what we needed. Perfect location, close to everything we needed.

No wash cloths despite paying for a laundry service. Had to leave to get some wash cloths. No soap except some previously used bars. 😳 Bring your own. No stove, some dorm room type appliances. Didn't answer my emails. Didn't see him until very late outside after getting things not provided. Hope to discuss this with him if he's around tomorrow.
