Feel the Hawaiian breeze from Large window (PM04). One of the most affordable rooms in Pacific Monarch and all over Waikiki. You will be suprised with the high quality of the room with the price!!
This classy studio will become a nice castle to recharge for a new day exploring Waikiki.
You can see the beautiful sunset from the living room. You will forget all worries by looking the sunset.
A small kitchenette is there for you to prepare some snacks or even cook as it is fully equipped.
A balcony with panoramic windows to admire city, ocean and mountains. A queen size bed soft like a cloud is wanting you to melt down there and fully recharge for an adventurous day. A sofa to sit down for a while and watch the TV. What else someone needs on a vacation.
Pacific Monarch is centrally located in Waikiki, with a great variety of places nearly at its doorsteps. Just a few blocks away from the building is a large concentration of shopping centers, such as Pualeilani Atrium and the International Marketplace. As well as an ever-evolving scene of cafes, happy hours, international cuisine, and late-night bars to relax at with an exotic island refreshment.
There is truly no end to the stores to wander through, unique dining options, and entertainment such as Hula lessons or cultural shows closeby.
But, if you prefer to explore more of Waikiki or even the greater Oahu area, there are several transportation options.
There is a bus stop located 3 minutes from the Pacific Monarch building, which can take you to new surfing, snorkeling, shopping or sightseeing locations.
There is also a Biki rental bike stand nearby, which can be used to explore Waikiki.
You will definitely enjoy all of the perks of the Island Colony condo itself, which offers a nice pool and Jacuzzi. - all at an affordable price compared to similar hotels in central Waikiki.

Great stay!

We enjoyed our stay. The only downfall is the 35 dollar parking and lack of no street parking. We walked 10 blocks everyday so we could park in a cheaper garage. Easy check in and great pool with hot tub! Will stay here again!

Close to Beach

Property is an older style as most are. Very close to beach and amenities. No resort fees is a bonus with a top deck pool, spa, sauna and games room. TV didn't work and took me 3 days to work it out after retuning it. Some information on location, operating the TV and building amenities would be a lot better than the 12 page rental agreement. Could do with some new crockery and glasses. Plates chipped and coffee cups aged and cracked. Priced reasonable for Hawaii. Would I stay again? Probably.

Located close to everything you need. Being a rental unit, do not expect any help from the hotel staff. They will treat you like the plague. As for communicating with the owners, they close at 5, and are not in a rush to return calls or messages. All in all, you get what you pay for. This place serves its purpose for a place to crash between adventures.

Wonderful!

This condo is in a great location and was very well supplied for what we needed. The balcony and large sliding doors provided nice access to ocean breeze and sounds of the city.

Waikiki Vacation

This property is in a perfect location. Close proximity to the zoo, Diamond head, shopping, and the beach. The rooftop pool was great with excellent views, barbecues and corn hole.

Best Location!

We have stayed in Pacific Monarch several times now and can't beat the location! So close to the beach, shops and restaurants, as well as bus service just outside on Kuhio Ave. The room was nicely decorated and had everything we needed for our stay, including beach chairs and umbrella. The rooftop pool is also amazing with incredible views!

Great Location in Waikiki

We were there for a week. Lots of rain which is very unusual however the location was close to everything we needed and close to the beach when the sun stuck its head out. The unit was clean however a little dated. Nice view from the room with a small view of the ocean. We enjoyed our stay

Overall great for the price

This condo was perfect for what we were looking for. It was a last minute trip and was great for the price and location. Just a short walk to the beach and food. The only issue we had was that the AC unit blew right into your face as you slept and the pidgins nested on top of it outside which cause a gross smell when they were there. We were able to scare them away for a few nights but they did come back.

Great location

That location was probably the best part of the rental. It definitely needs some work. There were holes in the walls in the bathroom, the shower was tiny and kind of gross. The pillows were pretty uncomfortable and there was a pigeon living right outside of the air conditioning although it didn’t bother us too much . It was nice to be able to use the beach chairs that were in the closet, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The front desk was very helpful. We were glad that we were able to park in the parking lot. It was $30 a day.

I love this property location, decorated perfectly but had holes in bathroom walls, WiFi wrong codes and cable didn’t work, did fix cable, had a loaded kitchen and beach chairs and umbrella a plus.. rooftop pool was green @first but after renovating deck was beautiful.. had a handiman list which should have been done b4 we checked in..

Just a few things that made our stay uncomfortable

The apt is in a great location, very central and easy to walk to all the hotspots in Waikiki. The room was ok. Check in was a little stressful as we had to wait an additional half an hour to wait for our room keys. It was also quite difficult to reach the owners on the number they provided. The air conditioning system is extremely loud but with no ceiling fan we were forced to have it going while sleeping which made it very difficult to get to sleep. Sadly no salt and pepper even though it stated it did (not a big hassle though). There is a lack of disposal bins. And the Tv was from the early 2000’s. all in all it was an ok stay but there was a few things that could have made out stay more enjoyable. The good things about this apt are all the beach gear and the bed was quite comfortable.

Reviewer Comments: Because my flight was leaving at night I had requested an extra day and this was approved via email and I agreed to pay an extra day. On that last day I was notified abruptly that I had to leave at 10 as they had booked the property for someone else. My 11 year old grandson and I were out shopping. We ran back to find the cleaning personnel in our room. They said you have to leave now! We hurried and threw our belongings into bags and vacated the apartment in 5 minutes. The hotel refused to store our bags. I am sitting in the lobby with a kid and no place to go for 8 hours. I called Lei Hawaii Realty. The lady was very nice and offered to pay for an uber to bring out bags to the office. We did that but she did not pay for the UBER. I asked what she suggested I do with a 11 year old kid for 8 hours. She suggested shopping. We went shopping. Our phones went dead and we had no place to charge them. My grandson was tired. We went back to the realty office and sat there until it was time to take an UBER to the airport. The fee was 65 dollars. The lady at the realty office took 40 dollars out of her purse. That was all she had. The office people had nice smiles and meant well but that did not make up for the disturbing and exhausting and stressful last day. If I had known we were going to get booted out of the rental I would have looked for another place to stay for that final day. Then last night I got an email from them offering me a 40 dollar refund for my inconvenience.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We cannot say enough good about the staff at Pacific Monarch they were friendly & helpful especially Christieann. Our problem was our actual room 1304 when we arrived we were shocked to see torn drapes & a dirty room. Never mind the plastic netting covering the balcony & blocking your view. Would a screen door not have been a better choice. There was no plug for the kitchen sink, no tea towels to dry your dishes & no dish cloth to wash your dishes. Our host Lei Hawaiian Realty did bring us a drain cover that did not hold water to protect the drain & two hand towels to dry our dishes after we complained. We also asked if it would be possible to get some salt & pepper. Our hosts reply was we do not supply any condiments. Really? I must say the shower was excellent we just wish it had some shelves in it to hold your shampoo etc. We did find the bed extremely comfortable but when we stripped the bed to wash the sheets we discovered a disgusting stained mattress cover. To top it all off we came across a couple of large cockroaches in our suite. We contacted our host right away to see if they would spray our room as we had I believe another five days left to stay there. Our host said that was not necessary they would bring a trap over to catch them. The lady arrived with a paper trap with sticky paper inside. She went to hand it to me & I asked her if she would mind assembling it for me as I had never dealt with cockroaches & I had no idea how to use it. She put it together for me & as she assembled it she laughed & told me that if we saw two cockroaches there were probably 20 or more in our room. A few days later our host called & offered to move us. I told my husband that with only a couple of days left I was not prepared to pack up & move. I would have moved if they had offered it when we first contacted them but they did not offer it right away. Pacific Monarch is in a good location & I would stay there again with a different host.
