An older hotel but nice people working here and everything worked well in the room and around the hotel. Has a nice pool with good sun. On Wednesday nights there is a Hawaiian music jam that is terrific. Great location as two blocks to beach and one block to buses. Some good restaurants nearby. Would stay here again.

Very dated furnishings. I doubt the AC would be able to cool the room adequately on warm/hot days. Not quiet - there are grates/vents in entry door allowing hall noise and voices in and cooling to escape.

After I saw the room and overall facility, no way I could have stayed there. One example is their small closet was inside the toilet. I checked out after I looked at the room and facility. Immediately, I directly booked to a nearby 5-star hotel on the waterfront- room was big with all facilities you expect, including a coffee maker and so on, and I paid about the same rate at Royal Grove Waikiki.
