The best bit was location good and good toilet roll. Nothing else really, Hard to enter property, held to Ransome by having to pay another $45 USD TO GET THE PIN NUMBER FOR DOOR ENTRY. Dated property. Nowhere to eat, lights not working, lights not turming off, noisy aircon u it. Just needs a good renovation and getting up to standards for the price charged. Never reccommend or go to there again. Customer service was bad to, no help onsite as seperate from Hotel , really like an Air B n Bat extaushinate price. Very Dissappointed and felt ripped off. No damage to the property by us yet we were forced to pay a $45 Damage Waiver to gain a text on arrival for the pin code for door. This os totally unacceptable. Anyone thinking of booking through "Marbella", don't bother. A unprofessional company. Only for their own gain. Not to provide a pleasant service or stay.

Great location..but
Everything was great except the noise from the bar downstairs. The room, communications and check in process all great. Location is awesome. No issues whatsoever. BUT…there’s a bar with no windows on the second floor and the party goes on until 2 am every day. If that doesn’t bother you this is your place. If it does thou..

Average room
Room 509 at the Waikiki Grand Hotel was okay. We had some trouble getting the TV to work. The air conditioner blew directly at our faces while in bed, and didn't seem to be a way to redirect it. The windows were taped shut, yet other rooms in the hotel had windows that opened. The mattress was lumpy which caused my wife to have trouble sleeping and irritated her (already) bad back. For the price of the room, it was adequate but probably would not recommend it to anyone.

Great location; convenient
We like the price and features of this property. The bed was very comfortable. The room was super clean. Great view. The kitchen was convenient. The unit could use some towel bars and/or hooks. The host was very responsive and communication was good. The 10th floor deck gave great view of Diamond Head and the Pacific looking to the south. The pool was enclosed next to the parking lot. We never went there. The staff was very nice. The Hulu Bar and the burger joint were in the Hotel; that was convenient. We walked to the beach; it was 1/2 block away. Starbucks and ABC stores were adjacnet.

Beautiful views, best beach!
We loved being on the edge of Waikiki, with the views of ocean, zoo, and Dimond Head. The protected calm beach next to the pier was perfect for us, and the beach chairs saved us each the cost of renting for $10 per hour! We also enjoyed the 10th floor patio and meeting some of the year round residents.

Great Location, Frustrating Experience
The location was the best part of this booking; the suite is as described, and close to the beach. However, the quality of the cleaning when we arrived was not great, and there were cockroaches in the kitchen, which we didn’t discover until part-way through our stay; the unit needed pest control and a thorough deep-cleaning. Our biggest issue was that the fridge/freezer didn’t work properly, despite the management company promising in advance that this unit would have a freezer; we noted on arrival (at midnight) that there was a second bar fridge in the unit, and that the normal sized fridge/freezer was not operating properly. We notified Marbella Lane promptly the next morning, and they pretended that it was a new problem, wanting photos, asking for a site visit, etc. The local staffer did appear, and admitted that this was a known issue; thus began a saga of dozens of emails back and forth with Marbella Lane, trying to get the issue resolved. I depend on medication that must be kept at a particular temperature, and on ice packs for pain management. They promised they were “on it.” Their messages were polite, and it seemed like the local staffer genuinely tried to help, but the new fridge/freezer still wasn’t delivered for six days, and that severely affected my ability to enjoy the vacation. They also had many odd “rules”, and threatened extra fees for any wear and tear, make-up on towels, etc. Bottom line: we’ll choose a different suite next time.

Beautiful View with Shortcomings
Beautiful view room in a great location with two fast elevators and a courteous staff who want to be helpful, however: 1) Our refrigerator didn’t work; so, two curdled containers of cream later, Marbella finally brought us a working fridge. 2) The air conditioner was too close to the bed and blasted our heads with cold, making it impossible to sleep. We solved this problem by placing the two provided fans at the base of the bed. 3) The hot water was intermittent. 4) And, yes, my husband killed four cockroaches…just small ones though. 5) Noisy street outside; the white noise from the fans helped to subdue it. 6) Dirty windows needed to be cleaned!

Amazing Views and Rental Company
My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and absolutely LOVED the room. From one direction you see gorgeous views of Diamond Head, and the other the beautiful ocean. You can see the sunrise come up over the Mountain right from the room, or you can walk to the pier which is right past the hotel. We had an issue with the TV connection when we first arrived, and Marbella was right on top of it making sure it was taken care of. There was NO lapse in time communicating on their end, which we really appreciated! The room actually had more than the description (unless I didn’t notice it when we booked). They provided pretty much everything including beach towels, beach chairs, a beach bag and flippers for snorkeling. Everything else in the description was on point (if not more) and we had EVERYTHING needed to cook. They provided dishes, silverware, coffee, sugar, trash bags, all the cookware, a bottle opener, a water cooler, dish soap/sponge, paper towels, toilet paper, bath towels, a pack and play, two blow up mattresses, an iron, a blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a vacuum, mop, broom and dust pan and also extra heavy blankets (I’m extremely Anemic so that was a huge bonus for me)! Everything was well labeled for locating it too! After checkout they did hold our bags so we didn’t have to lug them around (as we had a large gap between checkout and our flight), but the Hotel itself didn’t seem to want to do it. We were told others had priority because we weren’t “their guests”, which was the really the only downside because we were told that was a service offered. I don’t believe this was actually an issue with the rental company itself (considering how well we were accommodated), so regardless, we give this rental 5 stars! Thank you so much for letting us stay in your second home, we had a wonderful experience! ❤️

Wouldn't stay here again.
This place was not all it's cracked up to be. The best part is it's close to Waikiki but that also meant it's super loud and there were sirens going on at night and even an anti-mask protest with tons of honking, which is not the property managers fault. But that was the "good" stuff. The first thing I noticed walking in was the really bad paint job on the cabinets. You'll see. But again, I could have let that go. I also could have let go of the bucket on the floor next to the AC or the sign limiting what temp you can set the AC at (cause I get that electric is expensive in Hawaii). The part that really bothered me about this place was that the property managers just seem greedy. They limit how much TP you get (3 of the smallest rolls ever that seem to empty out within 24 hours) so you have to buy your own, which at $200+ dollars a night, you could really afford to give people the TP they need. They only give you one large trash bag and 2 bathroom ones. They limit your paper towels to 2 rolls (which we only used part of one but eventually had to use it as TP and just toss in the trash because we were running out of TP)... Which again... Just why?! Ever hear the quote, "a person never goes poor by giving?" A lot of VRBOs leave certain leftover items (like spices, sauces, dressings) or laundry detergent, or give you water bottles, or a small welcome package, or SOMETHING to die you they care, but you definitely won't get ANYTHING from this place. In fact there are signs that they count all their plates and linen and if anything is missing or if you accidently break a plate or glass, you will be charged. We got locked out of our room on our second day. All of a sudden, the room code just wouldn't work. My husband has cancer and this is was his bucket list trip. He wasn't feeling good and really needed to lay down but they couldn't tell us when someone was coming and offered no compensation to make things right. Just basically "sorry, we'll have someone there when we can." There was a blanket that smelled awful and after the "local representative" let us back in our room, she took the blanket with her to wash. This place is obviously owned by a larger company that only cares about money and it really shows, and because there is zero heart or Aloha from this place, I recommend staying somewhere else that feels more homey and caring. You truly just feel like a number. There's more, but apparently I'm limited on characters for this review.

Right across the street of the zoo. Great location if you like the hustle and bustle of Waikiki.
This property was ok. Location was right across the street of the zoo. Reserve parking with the hotel before you go or you will have to seek parking elsewhere. And you dont want that hastle because parking is scarce. We were not told to make reservations and we just assumed we would be able to park at hotel. That was not the case. The pics of the room was ok also. There is a window ac in the room that was not in the pics. And it blew on our heads because of where it was. That was not comfortable. It did cool the room though. But the drain tube in is a bucket on the floor next to the bed🤷‍♀️ The bathroom is on a small scale. The bathroom sink was rusty and little bit of mold in the shower. The kitchenette was good but we only used the sink and fridge. There were beach towels and chairs available in the room. There is a bar on the 2nd floor and you can barely hear the music at night. And it is a gay bar if you like that. Hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. They also have Roku on the tv. All in all it was a good room.

The location is amazing. Views of the beach, the zoo, and diamond head all in one go. The little bar in the building had just reopened and the staff were lovely. There is another beautiful place to eat and drink a block up, as well as around the corner. Comfortable bed, quiet neighbors, friendly staff at the desk. Just what we were looking for. Would definitely stay again.
