4/5/2024: Waikiki Sunset is undergoing an air conditioning maintenance project from April 22, 2024 through May 2025. Visible construction work around the property and some intermitten noise is expected. No work will be done within occupied condos. For all projects, work hours will be restricted to 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The Waikiki Sunset has long been a favorite of savvy vacationers who enjoy the best of both worlds!
This elegant condominium hotel resort located at 229 Paoakalani Avenue in Waikiki offers hotel-quality amenities and is perfect for your anniversary, honeymoon or family getaway! From this convenient location, you can stroll to Waikiki’s finest beaches, enjoy great shopping and restaurants, visit the Zoo, Aquarium or relax in the lush green spaces of Kapi’olani Park.

This one bedroom condo has a full kitchen, large bathroom, high speed WiFi, and television. This condo also comes with FREE PARKING! (6'0" Clearance, Trucks and large size SUVs are NOT recommended)
From your private lanai you can gaze out over the city and mountains during the day, and watch the vibrant city lights of Honolulu come alive at night.

The sleeping arrangements are very convenient with a comfortable king bed in the private bedroom, and a sofa sleeper with an additional foldable mattress in the living room.

Waikiki Sunset amenities include a heated swimming pool, fitness room, and outdoor picnic area with barbecue grills. There is also an on-site convenience store for last minute necessities, 24-hour security and an activities desk to help plan your island adventures.

ALI'I BEACH RENTALS INCLUDE:
- Bed linens, bath, beach & kitchen towels
- Dishes, silverware, cookware (including tea kettle, rice cooker, blender)
- Hair dryer, iron & ironing board
- Condo Supplies: coffee filters, dish soap, dishwasher soap, bar soap, travel size shampoo, conditioner, paper towel & toilet papers (once these items run out, you will purchase your own).

CHECK-IN IS 3:30PM — CHECK-OUT IS 10:30AM
Since another guest may check out the same day you arrive, to guarantee an early Check-In, reserve the condo for the night prior to arrival.

Excellant Get Away
We stayed here for a week and really enjoyed this place. The location is close to the beach, but far enough off the main strip ( 2 Blks) so you dont have to deal with the noise. Ease of onsite parking was a big plus. Close to all of the local attractions. The mountain view from the rooms is fabulous! Would stay here again anytime!

Condo as described - clean and perfect for a couple. Location good for visiting family that live in Hawaii Kai. It is a short walk to the beach. Only con were the elevators - 2 were not working at times and wait time was long.

Great place!
This property was absolutely perfect for our needs. The condo was gorgeous, clean, comfortable, and had everything you would need for your stay. The location is great as well -- a couple blocks off the the main strip on Waikiki, so it's nice and quiet, but it's also a quick and easy walk over to the beach, shops, restaurants, etc. The view of the city and mountains was gorgeous as well. Highly recommend this place!

The mountain view was awesome during the day and at night with the city lights and we enjoyed eating a few of our meals on the granite counter top. Check in was easy with the Security Desk past the lobby desk and the elevators were not that busy in mid-April. It's easy getting in and out of the garage by showing the parking pass to the attendant, although the pass is taped to an 8x11 cardboard paper. We parked on the 5th floor which had plenty of parking spaces and has bldg elevator access.

Stay was fun. Rental had no tissues, come on no tissue, really. The kitchen had no can opener pretty difficult to open a can without one really no opener. Small items I know and I sound like a high maintenance person for sure. But no tissues can’t believe it.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall hotel is a little outdated, but our room #3211 was exactly what is depicted in the pictures. It was clean upon our arrival, the check-in & check-out was very simple using the details provided a few days prior to arrival. I would suggest a new iron be provided ASAP, as the one in the room was old and ruined one of my husbands fairly new (worn twice prior) dress shorts. Also the TV remote needed new batteries. The washer/dryer is prepaid via an app that will only allow for minimum of $5, which is a little inconvenient since it's $1.75 per cycle w/no refunds. Overall I would suggest for anyone to stay here!
