My place is close to Only one block from Waikiki Beach, with great views from the Waikiki Grand Hotel - Suite 312 is a sort after listing book early to avoid losing your preferred dates, Affordable and close to everything - great balcony for watching Diamond Head, the Ocean and Honolulu Zoo Park. Location, Location, Location!

Please Note: This unit is directly above Hula's Bar and Lei stand. Though every effort is made by the bar to contain their noise level. This may not be the quietest unit in the building. Thus it's awesome price Thank-you

Great location at a low low price. Good set up. But think about it - such a low price needs you to compromise. There’s a little night time noise from the street / bar below but we wore ourselves out and slept just fine. Also the balcony needs a good scrub. Overall we loved it though.

Amazing location
Needs a deep clean. From windows to the showers to the floor to the balcony. Other than that it’s an amazing little spot. Has everything you need and the staff is really nice. The parking is the best! Book in advance! Loved our stay overall.

Best Spot to Stay
This was an absolutely wonderful place to stay. It was near everything I was looking for and extremely family friendly. I can’t wait to come back and visit. We will again use this location. Mark and the front desk staff were fantastic to work with. There was even beach stuff from previous guests that were there for guests to use. Thank you so much for a fantastic experience!!

Loved the proximity to so much fun!
We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach, zoo, park, and Diamond Head. The apartment was clean and just as described. The hamburgers in the hotel restaraunt are not to be missed. We appreciated very much how quick and efficiently Mark (the owner) responded to our needs. Thank you!

Great room
Our favorite place to stay. Super easy communication with Mark who is always helpful. Great location and is walkable to everything you could need. The bar directly below can get noisy- but earplugs work great while sleeping and the noise has never bothered us. Also- that bar has excellent drinks and the friendliest staff with a beautiful view. Thanks for another great stay!

We had an amazing stay, there was 3 of us. We all slept in the Queen bed. A lot of the reviews I read about the bar a level down being loud but we were not bothered at all by any noise from it, as it was not loud. We were asleep by 9/10 & up at 6 everyday doing stuff. In a very convenient location. The staff at the hotel was super nice every time we left & came back we got a nice greeting. Would for sure stay again at this location. Laundry on site, pool, very short walk to the beach & it is located by an ABC store which has all the essentials.

Great place near the beach
This place was exactly as pictured and described. Small but clean, efficient, and well appointed. Two individuals--ie, not sharing a bed-- stayed there without a problem Perfect location for the beach. Close to Diamond Head. Pretty easy access to major roads It's right above a bar and it's on a busy street so there can be noise, but it wasn't particularly loud and it didn't affect our sleep Mark was a great host. Quick to respond and very helpful. This was a great choice for my friend and me and I would absolutely stay there again

was VRBO so no one at hotel was "responsible" for you. No clean linens available so had to do laundry every night. Staff was nice about it though. Picture on expedia showed a small cot in room which was not there. They did have the boards for kids to use in ocean available in room!!!! Would stay again.

Waikiki adventure
Our stay in Waikiki was relaxing adventurous. Our condo room was directly across from the zoo and we were 1 building off of the beach and ocean surf. There were many restaurants, shops and attractions to keep us busy. We hiked to the top of diamond head and had panoramic views of the beach, ocean & city. Condo was lacking wine glasses & drinking glasses. A full set of dishes including bowls would be nice. Coffee filters, sugar & powdered creamer would be a plus. Pool was closed the first week we were there and opened last day we were there. Overall, received value for what was paid. Great location.

This property is a perfect place to stay if youre looking for cheap but close to everything you need in Waikiki Beach area. Walking distance to the beach, amazing view especially in Level 10th. Perfect area for chilling and sunrise view. Room is clean and has all the things you need. Room might be a little bit loud due to bar below but tolerable especially after a whole day of walking and swimming, it did nor bother us. If you are looking to a place to stay, check this out and staff are all helpful and friendly. We tried Teddy's burger too and it was deliciously good. Mark is really accommodating and communication is up to date. No regrets for booking this place. We had a nice stay here and we love the Waikiki. We will come back hopefully this year.

Great value and amazing location
The listing was very accurate. Yes the bar downstairs is loud but we came prepare with earplugs and slept fine. The view is incredible! Diamond Head and the beach from the lanai. Communication was good and everything went smoothly. If there was 1 thing I would change it would be the bed frame. The matress is comfortable BUT the bed frame squeaked and groaned everytime you move. Changing out to a frame that is not metal would make a huge difference. Also it could use some more dishes. 1 bowl only. We ended up using a plastic lid from an ABC meal for another bowl. But it was a great room in a beautiful area and we loved staying there.

As stated in the description, this room is directly above Hula's which was fine with me because we were there almost every night anyways. The bar doesn't close until 2:00, so if you want a quiet night's sleep early in the evening...this room is not for you. Room was clean, and had all the amenities we needed. The bedframe however was VERY squeaky!!! If you're a light sleeper, this will annoy you. Also...no fault of this room, but there was a lot of construction/remodeling going on in the unit next to ours which was irritating. All in all, great room in an EXCELLENT location. Owner communication was really good also.

Great location !!!
I chose this HomeAway, because I used to live in Oahu, I knew exactly this location and how close to everything it is. Walk to everything, or hop on a bus just out front and go anywhere, almost across from the beach, some people would say, it's directly across from the beach. Basically this location is the best. The apt was clean and check in was easy. We we're really never in the apt except to sleep. Now there is a bar that plays music and closes at 3am below. That didn't seem to bother us. But if you want "absolute quiet" then maybe not this place. Waikiki in general is not a super quiet place. But if you don't care, stay out late or any noise doesn't bother you? then this is the best location by far. And the price you can't beat. We will definitely rent here again.

The property is at a very nice location and clean. The communication w the owner was smooth and it was a good value overall. There are some maintenance issues we’ve noticed. The metal bed frame was not secured well and it had loud metal hitting and squeaking noises. The mattress was ok for sleeping, but the frame noise woke us up whenever we moved and it felt unsafe. I guess Honolulu Grand provides cleaning service, but the dish soap, shampoo, conditioner,and body wash were all watered down heavily and they did not lather and we needed to use our own. The unit is on the 3rd floor, so we could hear a talking, singing,etc. from the bar downstairs till 1am. The bathroom did not have a fan, but I understand that the building itself is a old structure. It has a plenty of storage space, so I would use it again as long as the bed frame issue is addressed properly.

Mixed Feelings
I hate to give "conflicted" reviews. There were good things about this property (mostly the location- (loved not being in the heart of the city)), loved having ocean-view, greenspace-view (the zoo was across the street), the roof-top deck and views were astounding. But the room was a great disappointment. The floor was fairly nasty (I am sure there was dirt or God knows what stuck on it in places) and it grossed me out. I did not want to spend any time in the room as it felt claustrophobic, partially because the lanai sliding doors were shielded by the bed. The lanai area was also very dirty and cluttered with beach gear. It was just not somewhere you wanted to spend any time on (the lanai)(or the room, for that matter). The couch was also a micro-suede material which gets scummy over-time and should be replaced. The curtains next to it were difficult to open because the sofa arm interfered with it. These are all things that easily could be improved to make this a 5-star stay. I would recommend that the furniture to be re-positioned (such as the bed in front of the window, the glass table between the kitchen and the patio doors, the armoire on the right wall and the sofa in the middle of the room facing it. That way i think the space would be more inviting. Learning on the last day that the windows actually slid all the way open opening up the room was a good find, too late. And one last suggestion. A Keurig would be a huge help for guests who drink different coffees.

Birthday trip
I always like to visit Hawaii for my birthday, this year I was traveling alone & just needed a place close to everything.This condo was just that, it is just steps away from Waikiki beach & all the shops & restaurants on Kalākaua Ave. As far as the condo there are a few things to take in consideration so your not surprised, As said in other reviews this condo is next to a bar/dance club that goes late, but it didn't effect my sleep as I was out late most nights or tired from the days events & slept fine. if your a light sleeper it may effect you so bring ear plugs. There was parking available at the condo at the time I booked. it was nice not to worry about if I could find a spot on the street so it was expensive ($30 a day) but it was worth the hassle of finding a spot. the staff at the condo was very helpful and was happy to help with any questions I had, Mark was fantastic with any questions the condo is a little dated, & the bathroom could use a update& the water drain was slow draining, but nothing that effected my stay. fresh towels & beach towels where available in the room as also beach chairs & boogie boards, not sure how good they were as I didn't use them, but was nice they had them. would recommend they add a small cooler for the beach, The condo needs more cups as there was 1 lol it would have been nice to have more than 1. There was coffee cups plates utensils pots & pans a coffee maker I enjoyed my stay & would recommend this unit to family & friends

Tiny w/ a great location!
I really enjoyed my stay. The place was small and cozy, probably a little too small. There were two adults a 14 & 9 yr old (just to give you a visual). It was frustrating trying to get around in the place because how small. I’d say it’s more for just two people. To get into the place, we had to enter a pin at the door but a couple times it wasn’t taking out pin and we were locked out for a couple mins. We just continued to put the pin in and eventually it worked. That was a bit frustrating too. The bed we slept on was squeaky and didn’t feel too stable but overall the place was clean, when we had questions, they were answered. The balcony area was an amazing view of the sky and the ocean. If you went up to the 10th floor that was an open space where you can watch the sunrise and the sunset which was beautiful. If you need to do laundry, they sell laundry pods downstairs at the desk but the lady was nice enough to give us a couple for free. The parking was difficult to find, be ready to walk. Other than that, the location was PERFECT. Literally across the street from the Honolulu Zoo and beach which my kids really loved because they visited the beach everyday we were there. Downstairs is a close by ABC store and Starbucks. There was a Hamburger spot connected, a bit pricey but the food was amazing. Around the corner walking distance was a lot of places to eat at and different stores that carried things like beach stuff, clothes, souvenirs, etc…Overall, I’d stay again. 🙂

Don’t Say You Haven’t Been Warned
We’ve been using VRBO and Other platform for about 6-7 years now. We travel about 3-4 times a year and usually book through these websites, because we always travel with bigger parties. So it’s safe to say we’ve seen our fair share of properties we rented. The check in was easy, the resort fees were as expected, parking downstairs, for a fee of course and then we went to the room. Right after we opened the door, we’ve got hit with a smell of stale humidity, mixed with a plug in air freshener. And then the rest: the air conditioning does not work, so there’s a fan sitting on the table, room temperature was around 78 degrees, over 80 during day time and we had to keep the blinds closed throughout the day, so it wouldn’t get any hotter, blinds were very dirty, dusty and ripped in some places, cabinets dirty, ceilings dirty, water barely runs out of the sink, bathroom lights are different sizes and have a thick layer of dust, I only wish I could post a photo of the air vent, it had so much dirt/dust stuck to it, it seemed the air had hard time getting out, all fixtures are rusty, floor tiles cracked and some had holes in it, after you take a shower the water sits on the floor for about 30 mins until it drains, there’s a man made closet behind the door and it’s all filled with dust and a couple of paint cans(maybe you need to paint the room yourself if you don’t like it?!), balcony has 2 old chairs, a rug that’s soaked in water and literally rotting. STAY AWAY FROM THIS RENTAL!!!

Had a wonderful time!
Easy check in process, we paid for parking in the very small lot and was happy to see that there was always something available for us which made coming and going very easy! Perfect location, very close to shops, beach and restaurants. The place was clean and it was nice having a little kitchen area to store food. The first night was noisy from the bar downstairs but wasn’t bad after that and it was as advertised and priced accordingly. Thank you! We enjoyed our stay!
