Great retro mid century mod cabin for a small family
Stayed here with 2 adults, 2 children and dog. It was the perfect size for family. Little kitchen area worked out well for simple breakfast, coffee and meals. Laundry worked great with detergent already there. Loved the Mrs. Meyers, Tradr Joes and Ikea items available for use during the stay. Loft is very cool with tons of games and big bunk beds for kids. Stairs a bit too steep for older dogs. One disappointment was the lack of a walkway when we arrived at nighttime in the dark. There was no walkway shoveled and we had to get headlamps out to shovel a path through packed down snow and ice to get to the front door. It was a treacherous coming and going on the self-shoveled walkway. I reported it to the property management that night who said someone would call the next day and by that point, we had already shoveled to get inside. Overall it was a great little stay. Would advise PM company to ensure walkways exist before guests arrive. Cute cabin, good vibes.

Well appointed
Very cozy, appreciated the cleanliness of the place. Had a lot of personal touches which just added to the ambiance of the cabin. Kitchen was well stocked with necessities to cook and nice appliances.

No internet service and terrible property management
There was no functioning internet service at the property, and the management company did absolutely nothing to remedy or even communicate about the problem. It’s a shame, because the cabin itself is cute and cozy and in a great location. I hope the owners see this and get a new management company, because we will never book from Vacasa again. I understand problems like internet or utilities can be outside of anyone’s control, but the property management company’s ineffectiveness was unacceptable. We would never have booked if we knew the internet wasn’t working, especially since there is extremely limited cell service in the area -- we had no connectivity until we walked out to Highway 89. We needed the internet for work as well as for emergency communication purposes. We contacted support about the issue immediately after arrival. Repeatedly over the next 4 days, different support agents who clearly didn’t even read our prior messages would provide useless suggestions (the wifi password, which was not the problem -- the wifi was up, but there was no upstream connectivity) and say they were contacting "local staff" about the issue, but we would then hear nothing until we reached out again. They refused to provide contact information for this "local staff", as is required by local regulations. This is unacceptable for multiple reasons: misrepresentation of the property, no communication about the issue, no remedy of the issue for the duration of the stay, and no local contact as required by Placer County Short Term Rental Ordinance 9.42.080 B. Another minor detail that provides additional context on the management company: we noticed a prior review dated 3 weeks before our stay that the coffee maker was broken. The host had replied apologizing and said they would take care of it. It was still broken when we arrived, but then mysteriously halfway through our stay we discovered a new one had been dropped off on the porch, with no communication. I guess maybe the internet will be fixed 3 weeks from now?
