Historic Home Comfort, Convenience, and Views!

Beautiful views from a three bedroom family home, with full kitchen, living room, and laundry facilities. The close-to-town, convenient location adds to the benefit of this accommodation.

We renovated this older home to retain its original charms, but also to satisfy our modern tastes and expectations. The result is quaint, bright, and utterly charming with enchanting views of Kachemak Bay, the Kenai Mountains and the Homer Spit. Every window at the front of the house - living room, kitchen, and laundry (!) offer the remarkable views we love so much in Homer.

This is one of three rentals from Alaska Holiday Homes and available on this property. This house is a duplex. Rent all or a combination of the units to bring a large group of family / friends together in one location (in all, beds for 12 - 14 people).

My husband, my 80 y/o dad and myself enjoyed this historic home for two nights. The home was exactly as described if not better. Peaceful, million dollar views and close to everything. Enjoyed the local cranes, momma and baby moose and snowshoe hares. Hope to be back! Loved the town of Homer!

This cottage in Homer was perfect! It reminded me of a 1950’s bungalow. Classic features, incredibly comfortable beds, great view, wonderful location to the main area in downtown Homer. Will definitely stay here again.

Fantastic property!
This was our 3rd stay at this beautiful home. It is well kept and always clean and quiet. The view is incredible. It's close to both the Spit and midtown Homer as well as a scenic drive up East End Road. The owners, Kit and Phyllis, are wonderful managers and very responsive to any issues that arise. I highly recommend this property!

We spent a weekend in Homer. The property is in a beautiful spot overlooking a beautiful mountain range. We saw lots of wildlife right here on the property . It was clean and quiet and idyllic! A definite must if you come to Homer!

We are three couples traveling around Alaska. Kit and Phyllis’ house was one of the nicest we have stayed in. Everything was as described and the big living room was nice for the six of us to be able to hang out as the weather wasn’t so nice. Thank you for providing a great space with everything we needed.

Amazing Rental
This little cottage perched on the hill is perfect for a getaway with friends. This rental is just right for a crafting weekend. We love the layout and the well equipped kitchen. The location is perfect for a quick dinner out or morning coffee. We wish we could stay longer. We'll definitely be back in the future.

Spectacular mountain view, well equipped, comfortable, great hosts! Appreciated having laundry available. Main floor up a few exterior steps, then all one level was enjoyable for my handicapped friend. WiFi and Netflix worked without any issues. Perfectly Charming!
From the moment we stepped inside this lovely historical home, we were utterly charmed. Immaculately clean, beautiful view and great location. Close to town and just a five minute drive to the Homer Spit where my husband was camped with our grandkids. Super comfortable beds, lots of fluffy towels and an inviting living area. Kit and Phyllis have provided everything you could possibly need. Highly recommend and we will be back for our next trip to Homer.

This house was so cute! Very clean, beds just swallow you up in comfort! I am a lover of good linens and this rental delivered! Towels fresh, soft and in good supply! Sheets and bedding top notch quality. Furnished with a simple style that is reflective of the town and surroundings. The views are breathtaking! Only suggestion would be more kitchen items, mixing-serving bowls, a couple extra knives and s few spices in the cupboard for those who cook. The driveway was a bit slippery even with AWD and 4 wheel drive due an unexpected overnight snow! Thank you for sharing this lovely house with our party. We were very comfortable.

Heaven in Homer
The home was perfect: location, price, amenities and view. Photos do not do the property justice. My fishing buddy and I usually stay at a local hotel and share a room. For the same price we had an entire house. It was heavenly. Will be staying here again and again.
