"Horses for courses really. Very highly rated by others - walkers and wine buffs, perhaps - but it wasn’t for us. The building is very attractive; the proprietor was very pleasant; the breakfast was good. The room was spacious & clean but badly thought out - e.g. amongst other things, power sockets for the bedside were behind the bed and inaccessible, the loo was situated below a very low, sharp point of the ceiling, the curtains served no purpose at all. "Leider war das Hotel geschlossen. Über eine Sprechanlage teilte man uns mit, dass der Eigentümer das Hotel zum Jahreswechsel als geschlossen gemeldet hat. Dann wäre er bereit gewesen, uns ein Zimmer zu geben, jedoch in einem leeren Hotel und ohne Frühstück. Nach kurzem Warten haben wir uns entschlossen, eine andere Unterkunft für die Silvesternacht zu suchen. Was natürlich um 18.30 Uhr nicht so leicht war."

"This is a very unique property in that you check yourself in through a machine and locate your room by yourself. There is a communal dining area where you can prepare your own food. We had an issue with noise, being at the front of the hotel, and the manager who was present in the morning moved us and upgraded us to a remarkable room with a balcony! This is a beautiful property! It is very unique. The service was outstanding!"
