Excellent. Could be noisy early in the mornings with deliveries to the fantastic pub downstairs.
Looked forward all year to this apartment and was not disappointed. It was clean and tidy and the kitchen was well equipped. Had a fantastic stay.

Luxurious apartment
Fabulous, luxurious apartment above a great pub - what more could you want. And dog friendly too Gorgeous views and plenty of room. Lovejoy furnishings but could just do with a little more storage in the bedrooms

Lovely accommodation in a picturesque spot
The nest was a stylish and lovely accommodation with beautiful furnishings and within walking distance of a secluded beach…on arrival however upon opening the utensils drawer there was a really unpleasant smell . This was only resolved after thoroughly washing all the pans and the drawer… a dirty pan appeared to have been in there a while…..other than that the cleanliness was ok., but it spoiled our first impression of the place…..the pub below was busy and vibrant , a little noisy but we expected that.

Lovely
Lovely spacious property in beautiful, quiet location. The property is nicely presented with lots of amenities. Parking is easy and having the pub so close is great. The food at the White Eagle never disappoints. The walk to the beach is lovely and close and there are several walks from the property with keen doggies. Our only issues with the property were the windows and Juliet balcony glass screen that was salty and obscured the stunning views. Definitely hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Our second issue was the side terrace which in the photos suggest a lovely inviting area to sit with pots of plants. Unfortunately on our visit the pots contained dead plants and were full of water. The terrace needed a jet wash to remove green algae. The area is also noisy when two large fans from the pub are operating. Our final issue was the fridge which was small with broken door shelves which meant there was nowhere to stand milk which then leaked. With the windows/screens cleaned and the terrace improved this property would be 10/10,

6/10 Okay

Property disappointing
We arrived on time and the accommodation catered for our number easily in size. The fridge door for bottles was missing, as it had been broken by previous quests, we found out later during our stay! The pillows are tired and need replacing, there was a dirty bedroom bin containing wipes from previous quests…. Along with an uncleaned cafetière. The fridge was grossly inadequate for six adults and this was reported back to the letting agency as a complaint prior to our leaving along with the facts that the kitchen window is broken and the double bedroom off the kitchen needs its radiator looking at as it has a very slow leak. This was obviously an on going problem as the carpet was stained and the pipe work had been knocked. The outdoor patio is neglected with no umbrella and dying plants in pots. It also has no cushions. The door to the patio has also been damaged in the past and this is visible along with the kitchen extractor fans permanently on. When we go on holidays we like to stay in comfortable well appointed accommodation, this was below pare with photographs showing it at its best! As we stayed during a bank holiday period there was extensive pub noise (singing)and door banging which may well bother some quests. This fortunately quietened down as we went into the week. Therefore in our view this accommodation was overpriced and oversold.

weekend break - issues
Firstly the positives Fabulous first impressions, very spacious, bright and clean. Lovely furnishings and fittings and great view. Points that disappointed - Kitchen- Fridge is very small for the accommodation and amount of guests, made even smaller by the fact holder for milk etc was broken and left on top of a cupboard! Therefore made even less room for food storage- Bathroom off kitchen -no extractor fan and not able to open window! As a result paint peeling off the wall near the shower. Dbl bedroom off kitchen- radiator leaking so damaged a guests bag. Not able to open window in this room. Biggest disappointment was the outside area! we had beautiful weather that weekend so wanted to make use of the outdoor space. This resembled nothing like the images on the website! absolutely filthy, table broken in the centre so not able to use the umbrella, and table dirty. Goodness knows when this area was last swept or cleaned. This is the start of summer, utterly unacceptable to think guests want to sit in such a mess. Door to get out to this are doesn't open easily so had to be left unlocked. I have taken photos that I would like to send to you, so could you please let me know email to send to please. I await your reply Regards Joan Smith

Great Location with fair accommodation
We stayed as a family late May early JUne. Weather was fantastic and the pub below was very busy day and evening. Thought that the apartment would be noisy over the busy pub. But, no there was little noise to disturb us. Pub staff were very pleasant and helpful. Parking was a little bit of a problem on first day but with the help of pub management was soon sorted. Apartment was spacious with four bedrooms (one was a single with bunk beds), reasonably well decorated. There were a few niggles such as trying to find cutlery which was in a hidden draw in island unit and the induction hob was hard to switch on (a wet finger and some rubbing finally did the trick). There were some maintence issues such as cracked window and broken latch in kitchen window and broken slats (2) in "californian blinds". Provisions such as tea coffee, toilet rolls etc were a little sparse. The most disappointing feature was the outside space (terrace) which show nicely in online brochure, but was unusable, because of exhaust fans from pub, and not cleaned - bird droppings dust etc. Overall, we would stay there again because of location, but only if we were unable to find better accommodation. PS A more comprehensive list of instructions such as where to dispose of rubbish, location of cutlery etc would have improved the overall impression of the Nest.

Little Gem
This is the second time I have stayed at the Nest, both have been for special occasions. The place is amazing, well maintained, comfortable, and definitely has a wow factor. The White eagle below also adds to the experience, where the staff are fantastic .

Great Eagle
The Nest at the White Eagle is a fabulous place to stay on Anglesey with a family group. It was spotlessly clean and kitted out with good quality furnishings. The beds were superbly comfortable with really lovely high spec bedding. I normally take my own pillow with me when I travel, as I never find pillows in hotels and self catering accommodation suit me but the ones here were fab - my own pillow went back into the boot of my car. There is more cutlery and crockery than I have ever known to be provided in a self catering property where, quite often, you are rooting round to find enough knives or side plates or something else for all the guests that are staying. Everything had been thought of in the kitchen. The location is amazing with a super view of the coast from the front of the property and you are perfectly placed at Rhoscolyn for coastal walks and beaches if you want them. The Eagle pub below will also suit all your needs for food and drink and the MOST wonderful and kind staff who help to make your stay so enjoyable. I would happily return here anytime and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Great apartment with fab views. Very comfortable. Nice having the pub / restaurant just downstairs
Had a lovely stay in the apartment for my birthday. Great views out to sea. Apartment is very spacious with good facilities. Sofas and beds comfortable. Used the terrace briefly when sun did come out. Imagine it's very nice in summer as a little sun trap.Kitchen well laid out with nice bench for lunch / breakfast. Handy being able to pop downstairs for a drink / food. Felt like being in a hotel, in that you didn't have to head out for dinner in bad weather, but better as have much more space if you want to have a ngiht in. Ate downstairs two nights and food and service very good. Handy having the designated parking. Great location for some walks along the coastal path.

The Nest
We’ve just had a fantastic week at The Nest with our two grown up children and their partners plus two dogs. From the start the apartment felt spacious and clean so we all fell in love with it. We dined in on five evenings and the large kitchen and dining area were great for that. The white eagle itself is a very nice pub and restaurant serving excellent food and drink and all the staff there were really really friendly and helpful. However, there were a few really annoying problems with the apartment which were totally unnecessary and should have been addressed by the owner. None of the toilet seats fitted correctly and were loosely fitted, the shower over the bath did not have a bracket so we had to hold the head whilst showering, so unnecessary. There were no wardrobes whatsoever and no drawers in the bedrooms so we basically forced to lived out of our suitcases. I think this storage problem is down to the unusual layout of the apartment with a very large lounge and a very large kitchen/ diner but small bedrooms.

Enjoyable stay
We had a lovely stay at The Nest with our friends and their family. The accommodation is very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Location is fab with amazing views of the coastline and the beach a couple of minutes walk away……with a great pub on your doorstep! Some aspects that could be improved include: Provision of wardrobes Fridge/oven size not adequate for a party of 8 staying for a week self catering.

A wonderful apt in a beautiful location
We had a wonderful time in the nest, a beautiful apt overlooking the White eagle. Perfect location for us as it’s close to beaches and coastal walks and our favourite pub! Apt was spacious and comfy with a sun trap outdoor area just off the lounge. Just a couple of minor snags, bathroom tap not fixed to sink in bathroom and some windows fixed shut so in certain bedrooms it got very stuffy……didn’t detract too much though from what was a great stay in a lovely place. We hope to return to the nest in the future.
