"My husband and I spent 4 nights here and it was absolutely wonderful! The space is beautiful, with lots of light, and windows. The bed was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. The only tiny drawback was the rod noise but once we got used to it it wasn’t an issue! "

"The location is outside of the hustle and bustle of the touristy area. It gives you the opportunity to go see the Amish and not get caught in a tourist environment. This is the only VRBO we’ve ever stayed at that had a gas fireplace we could use. After a windy day seeing the sights it was nice to go back and nap by the fireplace. The host communicates with you easily and gives you all the privacy you could ever want. Check in and check out was effortless. We will stay again "

"Val was very helpful while staying with her. The beds are comfortable. Having access to a washer/ dryer was so helpful. There are a bunch of coffees and teas available. Plus there were breakfast bars, oatmeal and candy! There were coffee creamers and water in the fridge. The neighborhood is nice, safe and quiet. We would definitely stay in the future. Thanks Val!"

"We had a fabulous weekend celebrating our 40th anniversary at the Shoe House. The house is beautifully decorated with every detail thought of by the hosts. We spent our weekend cooking together, playing games, sitting out by the fire pit and enjoying the hot tub. Sleeping accommodations are comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. The downstairs family room is where we gathered the most and having a full refrigerator, bar, and coffee station was a huge plus. We had a fabulous memorable time....
