I needed a place to stay while getting my grandparents farm ready for an estate sale. This house was perfect. Nicely appointed with everything you need. Decorated nicely, comfy, and serene.

Family Visit to Jefferson City
We had a very nice time during our stay at The Old Rock House. House is very clean and cozy. We were able to come back to a comfortable place to stay after visiting the Lake of the Ozarks and Family. We really enjoyed our Easter Break.

It was exactly what we were looking for, we stayed a couple of days visiting with our new great grandson. The house was exceptionally clean, and the Internet is amazing! I am so happy we found this place and will be back again and again, as that great grandson grows.

Wonderful stay at the Old Rock House
Had a great two-night stay at the Old Rock House. Place was clean, beds were comfortable, wi-fi worked well, and while it's only a few minutes from a grocery store, gas station and restaurants, it has a rural feel to it. We spent a lot of time watching the birds and relaxing. Highly recommend. Thanks John and Pat.

Country quiet
Staying with family while visiting out of state and not enough room in the inn. This Old Rock House was the perfect solution allowing space, privacy but still close by. It had everything needed, espescially comfy beds! Check in was easy, felt safe. Owners close by, but we did not need anything. This location is perfect for Jefferson City/Fulton visits. Close to town convenience, with country quiet. Highly recommend.

Amazing get awat location
We stayed at the Old Rock House for our Katy Trail ride trip. The location is great for driving to several trailheads. The house itself is so cute and welcoming! The attention to detail is amazing - from the decor to all the necessities. The back yard is huge!! And we saw deer! It was great to grill out supper with some friends and lounge on the back porch. Close to Jeff City for great eats, too. Cannot say enough great things about the owners communication and this property. 10 out of 10 recomend!

This little house is a charming adaptation of an old rock cabin with a full-sized kitchen & bathroom added-on. It is comfortable and clean, thoroughly & thoughtfully provisioned. We found everything we needed right at hand. The setting is rural, in beautiful rolling hills. We watched bluebirds from the back porch. There were some pleasant extras like bathrobes and muffins. Doing business with the owners was easy because everything was exactly as specified. The main bed is soft but the other bed is firmer so you have a choice if you have comfort issues. Even though the location is decidedly rural, you are only 15 minutes from downtown Jeff. City. A take-home pizza from Arri's won't even get cold! Nothing flashy but an extremely comfortable, relaxing & pleasant stay.

Awesome Old House and Location!
Had a great time staying at The Old Rock House--built in 1947 so there are some quirks, but everything works and has been updated. Also a great location--very close to Jeff City and not far from Columbia. Hosts were very good and comms were good as well. Highly recommend!
