"The castle and its park are beautiful and the property is extremely quiet. We enjoyed the great breakfast buffet. Not so good was the restaurant (we ordered a package with a three course dinner). The decor has a very personal touch, parking is free and convenient, restaurant food is outstanding, walking distance to Old Town and the staff are very friendly. Breakfast is ok, now I will say this if you stay on the weekend, they have a dance downstairs that is loud. My advice is to go join in and have fun."

A kettle to make coffee/tea would be nice. If driving, go via Hinterhelmsdorf and do not follow google maps as those lead through almost impassable backroads. "
