Holt is a popular Georgian town located just 4 miles from the stunning surroundings of the north Norfolk coast. It has an interesting range of galleries, gift shops and eateries. Nearby, board a steam or diesel train and take a ride along the 'Poppy Line' through the countryside, into neighbouring Weybourne and Sheringham. The diverse coast is adorned with small traditional villages and larger seaside towns , which offer good pubs or restaurants showcasing locally caught seafood and produce. For a day at the seaside head to Wells-next-the-Sea or Cromer. Both offer up good sandy beaches, watersports and nearby ice cream parlours for an afternoon treat. Norwich, rich in history and shopping opportunities and The Broads National Park are easily accessible for a day out.
