Our five unit property was just featured in the January/February 2020 issue of Southern Living, and we are honored and thrilled! Our small, five unit complex is right on the Gulf, with spacious, tropical gardens, beach front patios and grills, and an individual sun patio to call your own, complete with table, chairs, and umbrella. Relax and read the paper in the mornings, or enjoy supper and watch the sunset.

The interior is decorated with a tropical flair, including rattan furniture in the bedroom, dining room, and living area- but we've kept and reupholstered everyone's favorite vintage easy chairs. Be sure to look at our framed collection of black and white beach photos taken on the property in the 1930's and 1940's.

The bedroom has a king-sized bed and walk-in closet. The queen size sleeper sofa in the living room accommodates two more people comfortably.

The Cafe on the Beach for all-you-can-eat pancake breakfasts, casual lunches, and relaxing dinners is just a few steps away. Grocery stores and restaurants are 3 blocks away, and the free trolley will take you up and down the Island.

Great place to stay on Anna Maria Island
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bamboo Apt 2. It was a challenge trying to find a one bedroom/one bath place to stay, but this fit our needs perfectly. The owner, Alice, is a wonderful hostess and a pleasure to talk to. We were greeted with a welcoming sign on the door and a lovely gift basket inside. Highly recommend.

wonderful place!
We stayed in apartment #2. The location is perfect, right in the middle of the island so easy to walk or bike to either end. The beach which is expansive and lovely for long walks and sun sets is just steps from the place. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. Amazing! I will be back!
The place was just as pictured and described. I felt like I was in my own beautiful, peaceful place or home— not a busy, loud resort. I enjoyed so much watching the wildlife— Kingfishers, Pelicans, Hawks, Sandpipers, squirrels. The plants and trees create a beautiful haven there. It was so convenient to have beach chairs and umbrella handy for the short walk to the gorgeous beach in your backyard. The accommodations were clean and homey, like visiting a friend (who happens to live in paradise)!

A little slice of paradise
Alice and her team have thought of everything! Our apartment was immaculately cleaned and tastefully furnished. There was a lovely snack/wine basket there to greet us. Everyone was so kind, friendly and helpful. And it really is right on the beach with beach chairs, umbrella and towels included.

A quaint cottage
The cottage was nice and access to the beach was very easy. We enjoyed the outside patio for coffee in the morning and lunch in the afternoon. Accommodations were clean. TV is small and old so no HDMI connection for my tablet to watch downloaded movies in the evening. Couch was comfortable which was good because I had to sleep on it at night because the master king bed was overly firm for my comfort. I felt like I was laying on a board. The bedroom would have been more comfortable with drapes that darkened the room. The plastic blinds gave very little darkness to night lights and morning sunshine. If you’re a person that likes a dark room for sleeping this isn’t the best. I used a sleeping mask to remedy this challenge. No ceiling fan but good air conditioning. The amenities were good. I would have given a 5 star rating if these few items were not a drawback for my comfort.
